Amazon Customer: Needed to thicken my sons formula due to reflux. This is the only stuff that didn’t break him out of upset his stomach (he has milk and food allergies)
Rice is much thinner than the normal large flakes of the gerber rice cereal. Makes it easier to mix.

Doc: I was looking for an organic rice cereal without soy in the ingredients. This rice cereal fit the bill. Soy contains estrogen and I didn't was my grandson to be exposed to so much estrogen at his young age. I am thrilled I was able to find this cereal!. I can't really state how it tastes as I have not tasted it... but my grandson eats it like he has hollow legs to fill. He loves it. it was also a good value for the amount paid. I would recommend it to other mothers!

Zackary M Wood: I wasn't looking closely enough and thought it was one big box that was pricey but would be very quality. And yes it is quality, but it is 12 boxes! So I'm writing this for anyone who might make the same mistake.

Anthony: Originally bought because it was a healthy natural cereal that you can actually recognize all the ingredients and it doesn't break the bank... but our infants loved this and the quick breakfast option this provides is so great!...I would buy again.

Pink Penguin: This stuff is pretty good. You should read in the nutrients label before purchasing. Do not use this as a way to bulk up the kids meal so they will go longer without eating. It is nutrient dense. Not as much as other cereals on the market but it is NOT meant to give you more time between a childs meals. Parenting is not an "easy fix" market.
Sometimes baby food is too thin, such as bananas and applesauce. When I make these myself it is too runny. Use cereal to help thicken these up so it's easier to feed to baby. But ONLY after baby has started imitating a "chew". not when it is simply looking to swallow food. It will help baby learn to chew properly. We bought the package of 12 but only used one box. i was able to resell the other boxes for $1.50 a box at a local consignment sale.
