Anne: This is root powder turmeric, not whole turmeric powder, which makes a much higher quality turmeric than most store bought products. I ordered the 2.27kg jar, as we go through a lot of it. The turmeric arrived, with extra padding, and an expiry date of more than 2 years. This turmeric has a really good taste, and I highly recommend it.
