Shivasuz: Well I gave these large, organic Medjool dates only a 3-star rating because they came in hard, dried and as if they are years old. They MAY NOT be, but, they definitely seem like very old, hardened, dried-out dates based on my own date-storage experiences. I read the reviews BEFORE I ordered from this seller-product brand name: "Anna and Sarah" 's because the price was one of the most economical prices compared to other dates suppliers on Amazon, as well as the prices of Large, Organic, Medjools that I get fresh from our local area "Fresh Market" store where I live (those are always very, soft and moist; NOT hard nor dried-out as these are). One of the reviewers had said this exact same thing: that the price was good, but to be warned that they were hard & dried-out, as if they were NOT fresh, but old or outdated. I thought to myself, oh well, the price is so good, how bad could they be, maybe they just got a little dried-out & hardened from being exposed to very cold temperatures, also, I thought to myself: it can easily be fixed by either: soaking them in some warm water a few minutes before consuming, or perhaps by storing the bag of them in a warm environment or room....
