Nitey Nite: The other week at Whole Foods I bought one bunch of kale (not the bagged, chopped, and triple-rinse kind). Well, I went to go wash it off and there was an infestation of a variety of bugs from mealybugs to ones that looked like small aphids, among others. I was HORRIFIED. Even after washing multiple times, there were still eggs and bugs latched on to the kale all over.
However, I'm so glad I found this bagged, triple-rinse kale. I'll admit I was apprehensive, because of the experience with the non-bagged kale but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised that this kale was completely clean with no bugs. It also tastes very good so I'm only sticking with this bagged version from now on.

Kimberly: I still like to chop up fresh Dino kale leaves better, but these are an acceptable replacement especially if you are trying to save on a little time. I think they use curly kale instead on the Dino kale, which is probably my biggest complaint as I do not like the texture as much. But still works in my salads and stir Frys well. I do find that it does taste better if you massage them for a few minutes and chop them up a little finer especially for use in salads. I would expect them to be good to use for kale chips recipes as well.
