Kelly C.: I was hopeful for this, but it was a no from my whole family. It was the taste and the texture. I went into this not expecting rice as I am used to different rice substitutes. However; this was a gummy mess with no texture at all. The flavoring was horrible as well. It almost has a cauliflower flavor, but way worse. At least you get some texture when you use cauliflower. This is a pass from me.

XBOY2000XBOY2000: You won't mistake it for real rice, but this product, IMO, is far better than riced cauliflower. It is a bit mushy, but works well with Asian stir fry since it is sticky enough to eat with chopsticks. It doesn't taste like rice on its own, but it's a good flavor (I made it with butter). When covered in sauce it resembles sticky rice well enough. The cost does make me recoil a bit, so can't eat it all the time, but happy with it overall. Easy to prepare. I got 2 reasonably generous servings from one package.

Val T: Very small portion for the price. There is no flavor, which is good because it will absorb what ever flavor you add. The texture is not right. It is just kind of weird.

Melinda M.: This Hearts of Palm product mimics rice so perfectly! Rice doesn't have much flavor itself and neither does this product, but the feel and texture in your mouth is super. As a diabetic, I try to avoid eating anything white except cauliflower! I sauteed some onions, added a can of drained diced tomatoes, spiced it up with some powdered chili powder, oregano and cilantro, the dumped the whole package of rice in to warm up. It is already cooked, just needs heating. It made fabulous Mexican Rice with enchiladas and charro beans. With the left over fake rice, I nuked some fresh chopped bell pepper, stirred that in with fresh cooked shrimp, and added a mild salsa and garlic powder! Fabulous! I'm so excited to be able to eat all I want of a rice dish and have it practically carb, sugar and calorie free! Only problem is that it is pretty pricey! Thanks, Natural Heaven!
