Organic Grass-Fed Ghee Butter by Ancient Organics - Gluten-Free and Delicious!

Graham: This is the 1st ever ghee I’ve actually bought and tried. What an amazing one to start with. I read lots of rating, blogs, & articles about Ghee before I bought any. I do a lot of research before I just buy something. A painstaking amount. This one popped up on just ab every list I saw. It really sets the bar high in terms of flavor and I will now compare every other ghee brand to this one. Also love that it’s organic. Doesn’t have a strong cow flavor (some of the grass fed ones literally taste like dirt and have a funky flavor but this one doesn’t. It’s more of a caramelized butter flavor). Will more than likely buy again.

R. Jones: I have only tried one other brand of ghee, 4th & Heart. It was pitiful. It had such a strong odor from the outset and the taste matched. I thought maybe this was how ghee was supposed to taste. I am on a bone broth eating plan that gives ghee as a fat option in some of the recipes. I finally decided I had to use another brand to go on with this plan. Oof! After researching I narrowed it down to a couple that kept coming up on various websites and chose this one. Arrived today. No packaging issues. Yes the lid is tight but given what the product is, I am glad of that. A couple of rotating taps of the lid on the granite countertop and it popped right open. And yes, it retightens in the same way. OK. Anything I’m gonna store at room temp on my shelf I want that! Once the lid was off I took a sniff and the clouds parted and the heavens opened! You know how delicious your kitchen smells when you’re making brown butter? This is it. The consistency is totally creamy (unlike the other brand that had a hard lard texture) and the taste is just like homemade brown butter, sweet and slightly nutty and caramel-y. Derek T. Havens: I have now consumed several jars of this Ghee with complete satisfaction. Adds a compatible, lightly nutty flavor to any sauté. Often, for some veggies I will use in combination with olive oil. Consistency stays fairly stable at room temperature in a paste-like texture. Being absent of butter fat means it can achieve a much higher temperature without smoking or changing flavor. When I use Ghee I tend to use less which can help reduce fats in one’s cooking. Good product, consistent quality. Ghee, of any brand, has escalated in price to the point where I have to be a bit more conservative in my purchase and use of this product.

Amazon Customer: I’ve heard some terrible things about the smell and flavour of ghee so I went with this product where people said you get what you pay for and wow, everyone is right. I’m increasingly lactose intolerant and was looking for a cooking with butter substitute and this is spot on. You only need to use a small amount and so far the jar is lasting a long time. Highly recommend

Nina: It the the best ghee ever. Taste, smell and texture changes the flavour of the food. It is expensive but worth it. Will buy again.
