Azia: I have been using this product for over a year and have found it adds a unique flavor to many different foods and also when used in conjunction with other salty seasonings such as gray sea salt, miso, and stnd soy sauce. A meal of different vegetables etc., one seasoning does not fit all so I find using sea salt, miso, and coconut aminos, may all have a place. I originally got the idea from reading an article by a chef who said he would often use 2 or 3 salt seasonings in a particular dish. As Kevala has a sweet underlying taste I tend not to use it on sweet vegetables such as corn and sweet potatoes as a couple examples. So if you have not tried coconut aminos , Kevala in my opinion is a good product at a reasonable price. Try experimenting with it and see where it might enhance your diet, nutritionally (lower salt intake) and add new flavors to foods you frequently eat

Denise: I can't have soy sauce and miss the savory, salty taste it adds to foods. These coconut aminos are really tasty. They impart a savory, slightly sweet and less salty flavor. When subbing for soy sauce in Asian recipes, I add a dash of salt and omit any sweetener like Mirin. It makes a great teriyaki sauce with just garlic, sesame oil and rice wine vinegar. Subtracted one star because it's sweeter than expected.
