Organic Brown Rice & Brown Sweet Rice Blend - 12 lb Bag by McCabe

Moose: After several decades of enjoying clean organic brown rice from Lundberg, I tried this brand because Lundberg stopped growing my favorite type of rice. I literally can't believe that this bug-infested, contaminated product can be sold for years on Amazon without being pulled off the market. I wish I'd checked the product reviews for this junk, but I was spoiled by years of Lundberg's consistently clean, healthful rice. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE BUGS IN YOUR FOOD.

Jacki B.Jacki B.: This is my second order of this rice as the first order was very good. But recently I discovered that I’m not the only one who likes it. My bag is infested with little black bugs which you really don’t notice until you soak the rice in water and watch them float to the top. I wasn’t looking for a side order of bugs when I bought this.

Deb: The rice we received from Amazon was old, rancid and had bugs. Pretty gross, and Amazon would not let us return it. 🙁 So I called McCabe directly. They kindly replaced the 12 lb bag I had ordered. The bag we received from them was fresh, no bugs, and a truly excellent product. Maybe Amazon should consider storing organic food products better.

Claire: a bit on a higher end compared to other organic brown rice, but it is really delicious and great quality!!
