I also cook all of the meals for our dogs Sid and Lexi; they love this rice. After cooking, it freezes beautifully in reusable containers, so you always have cooked rice on hand. Leftover rice easily warms up and is as good as when first cooked, and also makes delicious stir fry dishes.
Delicious taste and aroma, and a just-right-chew for each rice kernel. A must have staple in my kitchen.

Hooksett Library: I ordered this product for Amazon's automatic shipment as the ride is organic and promises no hazardous chemicals were used in growing and harvesting. This rice has great flavor and the hook and loop style resealable bags are beautiful. I am a bit disappointed in the quality of the product in the bag. Our family has used three bags so far and every batch cooked contains husks. This may be standard practice for organic rice. I have never experienced it with non-organic rice. The husks are edible. They just give the rice a bony crunch. It will not prevent me from continuing to consume and recommend the product.
