This soils is amazing!
It gave my tree so many new sprouts, and it has really filled out over the past few weeks, my ginseng ficus tree has such big leaves, all branches are thickened with leaves, and new branches and leaves are coming out as well!

I wish the bags came bigger but it was still plenty! And I still have some more left over.

Jeff K.: The thing that you have to understand, if you're trying to start a Bonsai, is that the beginning growing stage, is your bonsai's prima donna stage---if you're not willing to deal with your bonsai's requirements, raise a less complicated plant.

This growing matrix is especially designed to support bonsai; a fast draining, nutrient dene, blend ( I especially liked that it features worm castings--Look it up, if you're not familiar )

I'm only going into week 3 with my bonsai, but so far, so good :)))))))

This is what I've done

I put her in a bonsai pot, with draining holes and screens, which is important.

She only gets spring water; no fluoride-laden tap water.

I'm actually using a glass pie plate as a humidity tray, with about 2 inches of stones, with water, again spring water, to a point that the water is visible, but the stones are dry on top---I think a shallow humidity tray would work as well; this was just a preference.

I live in Southern Ca., not in a cold environment, so she's under a window that is always at least slightly open.

I don't get a lot of natural sunlight through her window, so I bought a...
