I especially like that I don't need to re-read the instructions every time I change a setting. I bought one and liked it so well that later I bought another.

Rosemeire S. Kummel: O Anuncio faz parecer que o temporizador é da marca Orbit mas apesar de ser bem parecido, não identifiquei o nome Orbit no timer.

bradley: The single hose-end timer by Orbit works well and is dependable. All functions are programmable by rotating a dial. It has an independent setting for manual watering, that does not require interrupting the program. My unit is the second I ordered; the first was somehow lost by Intelcom. It took 2 weeks before I was able to process a refund from Amazon and then start my purchase again.

Andy Helsby: I purchased this product at the beginning of summer to help water the lawn and I've been impressed so far but it does have a few downsides.
The device is pretty heavy and it does come with a metal rod that should be bolted to the side of the house to give it some extra support. Unfortunately the rod comes down at a roughly 45 degree angle and ends up being located by ny poured concrete walls, so it was basically impossible to bolt the stand to the side of the house. I ended up putting a small piece of wood up against the house and screwing the bolt into that. It works but is not as secure as the wood can move around as opposed to a bolt in the house.
So far the device itself hasn't leaked but the hose connectors do - it's really tough to get hoses to attach to anything without a little bit of water leaking. However the good news is that the shutoffs work well so they don't leak 24/7
My biggest disappointment however is the manual override button. This works great for those impromptu waterings where you don't have an available sprinkler, the area is too oddly shaped for a sprinkler or you just need to fill a bucket, wash the car, the dog etc. I use it to water the...

modemers: I needed timers to water my front and back lawns. I tend to forget to turn on the sprinklers and if I go away on vacation, the yard suffers. I did a LOT of research for timers that are programmable with some flexibility in scheduling. I also was looking for a fair price. Some of these units cost so much you could pay to have a professional irrigation system installed! I settled on this and am extremely happy.
** First, it's very simple. You simply turn the dial from step to step. The purpose of each step is clearly stated: nothing ambiguous or confusing about "set time" or "how often?"
** Second, the words on the dial are large and printed in a clean font. And the digital readout is huge. For us with failing eyes, it's great to not have to remember the bring the glasses. And if your spigot is behind a bush and in the shadows, it's a big plus.
** Third, it's easy to change the settings. If the weather says it's going to rain for the next week, in one minute you can change it to not run for the next 6 days or just turn it to off. When you turn it back on, it remembers the previous settings!
** Fourth, did I mention it's simple and easy? If you don't touch it for two...

misterc: Got this to replace one that was many years old. Very easy to program, with many options. It gets used heavily as we travel a lot and it never missed a beat. It is stored for the season now, but we hope to get many years of use. Will of course put in new batteries each year. We store is with out barreries.
