G. Barr: Stuck at home back in 2020 it dawned on me pretty quickly that haircuts would be an issue. I had an ancient plugin clipper that was serviceable for light-duty cleanup work, but once I started semi-weekly cuts it died after a couple of months. I went in search of a modern, wireless clipper and was willing to pay for a "professional" unit.
I purchased this Opove clipper and straight away I was impressed. It's light enough that your arm doesn't get tired doing a full self-cut and easy to hold. I was blown away by the battery life! I cut my hair every other week for 4 months on a single charge.
The variable speed may be useful for some, however I just leave it on 7K for everything. The included guards are functional and easy to clean, plus since there's only two (double-sided) you can throw everything into your overnight bag without taking up much space. Great for long trips!
Then one day it wouldn't charge. I know what you're thinking, "Why the 5-star review?"

Clara: **** Review Edit April 2021: I reached out to the company via their customer service email found on their website, after reviewing the warranty information. They corresponded quickly, addressed the issue, and sent me a new set of clippers right away. I have since adjusted my review and rating to reflect this amazing customer service outside of my Amazon return window.

These clippers were purchased to cut my husband’s hair in the midst of COVID shutdowns. I exhaustively read and compared reviews until I found something that I thought would work well. We got it, charged it, and started to use it. It was great! We really liked it. Unfortunately, the third time we used it, we attempted to remove the guard and this is what happened. It broke irreparably, of course outside of our return window. We are so disappointed, and now have to spend even more money to find an alternative since my husband also used this for trimming his beard.

Kings Junior: Excuse my language, these clippers are badass! 😳☺ I'm not an expert Barber or hairstylist although I have them cutting my own hair and I am a quite a perfectionist I've been doing it for the last 10 years and then using corded Clippers for the fear of cordless Clippers not being able to stand up to my thick hair as I have come to expect in the past. That being said and being my first pair of cordless Clippers I was amazed at how fluid and smoothly it cut through my hair without even stalling out at all! Very very pleased and satisfied with the battery life how easy it is to use on my own. Totally exceeded my expectations. Honestly it may cutting my hair fun and not dreading having to cut it because it would literally take me a couple of hours to cut my hair before where is now it only takes me half an hour to an hour. Definitely suggest to try it out yourself. I don't like I said I don't have much experience or any thing to compare it to as far as cordless Clippers other than the fact that I've used corded Clippers and it totally blew every single brand or model I've ever used before of the corded ones. wyowind: I have been looking for a long time for a really good pair of clippers. I keep buying the ones that you can buy at any store and they do okay for a while but I really wanted something better. I'm not a trained hair stylist but I've been cutting my own family's hair for about 17 years. What sold me on this was a number of things. It blends flawlessly and gives hair cuts a professional barber look. I like that it has an adjustable dial so you don't need a bunch of different guards. It doesn't pull hair or pinch the skin so you can get an extremely close cut. It has a long battery life so you can do a few haircuts on a single charge so you don't have to worry about it dying on you in the middle of your haircut. I like that it has 2 different charging options so you can charge it on the stand or just plug it right on the bottom so you can still use it while it's charging. I love the display to show battery life so you never have to guess how much battery you have left. That's genius! I love the sleek design and how easy it is to hold and use. David A. Rosenthal: This unit replaces my corded Wahl. In comparison, it's lightweight, quieter and does a better job cutting what little hair I have left. I'm happy with the clippers, but do have a few complaints.

1. The instructions state to oil the blades after every use, yet no oil is included. There are competitors at half the price that include a small tube of oil. This is a silly oversight.
2. There is no case included. Why sell a cool looking, expensive hair cutter and have no way to store it other than the cardboard box? The company sells massagers that come with a storage box, but not these clippers. For the price it should be included. The cardboard box won't last and it is bulky.
3. The clipper guards are much shorter than advertised. With my Wahl and when I used to go to the barber, I would have a 3mm cut on the sides and back, and 6 mm on top. With the Opove unit, it seems the 6mm and 9mm are equivalent. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way after starting to cut with the 3mm and it was almost down to my scalp.
I give credit to the company as I had sent them an email about the oil and they said they will send me a tube at no cost. I mean, it can't be but 20 cents, so...
