OOFOS Unisex OOahh Post-Workout Recovery Slide Sandals for Active Sports

KatieLee: I have had these sandals for a month now and while they are pretty comfortable they are not as good as I expected. They are light weight and have decent arch support, which is a plus. But I don't find them to be as "cushioning" as I wanted and they are hot. Also, not made in Viet Nam but in China (says so on the side of the shoe) so they may be different now then the originals.

GCHEN: I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for several years, I have tried various pairs of slippers at home. These slippers stand out from the rest due to their soft and supportive middle sole. They make a good balance on the foot, offering support without being uncomfortably rigid, Wearing them around the house is an absolute delight as they effectively reduce the pressure on my heels.
However, the only downside I've encountered is that walking in these slippers feels a bit like stepping on cotton, which make me fell like off balance sometime, it may not be to everyone's liking. Additionally, I found that the sizing runs a bit smaller than expected, so you might want to consider ordering a size up to ensure a perfect fit

J. H.: I broke my left ankle 9 years ago and I was born with completely flat feet. My ankle has been bothering me the entire 9 years and my ankle has actually changed position because I walk on the inside of my feet because I have no arches. I normally can't walk or stand for more than a few minutes. My friend told me about these ooFOs and said they were game changer and she is right!! For 12 years she has suffered with neuropathy due to chemo and she loves them. My ankle has not hurt for the 2 weeks that I have been wearing the sandals in the house and I actually bought a pair of the closed shoes for winter which are equally amazing. These tilt my weight back on my heel and off of the center of my foot and they are like walking on marshmallows!! I highly recommend.

Kim: Pros:
1. Comfort - I bought these for my son who has wide feet, and bought the next size larger than his current size. He has worn them constantly after sports games he plays in (and he does a lot of sports) because they are super cushiony and provide good support for his arch...and according to him very therapeutic after a game, helping his feet to "relax." Both he and my husband have worn his slides at different times and both commented on how comfortable they are. And he grew into them perfectly, even able to wear them when they were a little too big.

2. Durability - he has had these for almost a year, and wears them around the house, and after games, out and about. Outside and inside. They look the same as when we bought them in terms of not seeing noticeable wear and tear like scuffs or scratches or dents. They are very plain-looking, black slides, but other than getting dirt on them which is washable, they have held up for the last year well.

3. Slides that provide arch support - the cushion is perfectly proportioned throughout the slide, while providing arch support, which to me is a nice bonus and good to wear after sporting events. They also help...

MR DEAN FICHNA: Bought these as unable to wear normal slides anymore due to a morton's neuroma, these are excellent, soft and comfortable but supportive, wide enough not to pinch toes together. Really impressed by them. Have been wearing them with 0 pain for over 2 weeks now. Only downside is they arrive without the logo on as pictured in the product section

SunniDSunniD: LONG, DETAILED REVIEW: I received my OoFos recovery slides 11 days ago and have only taken them off while sleeping (and part of one day as a test) because I LOVE THEM. My feet and knees started feeling better immediately. The arch support, the shock absorption and the rocker bottom that takes pressure off the heel are everything the company says. For reference, I wear a women’s size 10.5 with an average width. I have low arches, over pronate (ankles/feet roll to the inside), have plantar fasciitis and a painful heel from stepping on a sharp rock while running. I prefer a wide toe box so my toes can spread naturally. If the toe box isn’t wide it crams my big toe into the others and quickly becomes painful (I could see that turning into
a hammer toe if not careful). The slides have a great toe box but, as everyone knows, wide toe boxes are not necessarily “pretty” in women’s shoes. Screw fashion; I need my feet to make a living and enjoy my life.

I purchased a woman’s 11 which is fine for me but probably could have done the size 10. I’t’s ok, I’d rather that they be slightly big than a little too small. I will try to include photos if that helps people...
