Medic: First night I got this was 40 degrees I stayed nice and warm with a light blanket on top. I use a hammock deer hunting. Coldest night was 18F. I slept well and did not get cold with a blanket on top. Wished it packed a little smaller but it prob wouldn't be as warm then so I'm ok with it.

Shvey Lien.: Excellent product from a company that strives to improve. Keeps you warm and blocks wind, doesn't get squished between you and the hammock. Worlds better. Every hammock needs an underquilt and ratchet straps.

Anonymouse: At this point I've purchased 4 of these, one for me, for a gift for a friend, and one for each of my kids. I've been very impressed with the quality and comfort. I've found I have to adjust the elastic rope at the end of the underquilt to get the best air gap, but I'd write that up to personal preference and not at all a fault with the underquilt.

I've used this with the OneTigris overquilt down to 29 degrees F during a Minnesota snow storm. I wouldn't recommend this for comfort below 40 degrees, which it is rated for 40 degrees.

James Surette: First looks it seems like a well-made item . Will have to field test it to be sure but first impressions seems like it will be a great item for my hammock

Kermit: Bought this at the same time I purchased the OneWind Windsock. Figured that together with my MSS and a hammock tent I couldn't go wrong. And I didn't. Mostly.

It attaches to my hammock without any issues. Simple and fast to put up and those elastic cords do make a very big difference.

Using an MSS and two sleeping pads (one inflatable and the other self-infalting) I figured it would work well. And it sort of did. When the temp dropped into the upper 40s with the wind blowing, I still had a cold butt. Maybe it's the way I set things up, maybe it's the idea that the underquilt isn't made for temps into the 40s with windchill into the upper 30s. Dunno. But, it's a whole helluva lot better than actually freezing.

Is it worth it? Yes. Is it lightweight? Yes. Is it packable? Not so much. Still, it fits into my panniers with my other sleep gear, so that's a plus.

Buy it and figure out another layer to add for more warmth. It's worth it.

Kitty Carlisle: Not actually sure what this is for as it was my son's birthday request. But he loves it and it and uses it very often with/under his hammock which he hooks up between 2 trees in the backyard. He is very diligent about bringing it indoors when not in use so it's not exposed to the inclement weather. He's looking forward to taking it camping which is why he wanted it - but due to COVID has been on hold. I thought it was pricey but apparently camping gear is expensive so this item was not out of range. Son is very happy with it and says he can't wait to use it on his next camping trip.

Amazon Customer: I was surprised at what an improvement this was after trying other ways to warm up my hammock on cold nights. It clipped on to my Hennessy Hammock easily - no learning curve and easy to attach. It comes with nice compression straps to help fit it into a backpack, which is good because it adds an extra sleep item to your loadout and generally takes up more space than you would hope for a hike. Not being cold at night totally worth it. Overall not too much extra weight, also worth it.

Taylor: It's currently 6°, raining and windy, in Petawawa Canada. It's gross. This thing is awesome. It turned my parachute hammok into a warm system instantly. It worked so well that earlier the girlfriend and I took turns laying in the hammok and having the other take the under quilt on and off for comparison lol for the price I am very satisfied. I'm currently testing it over night right now and its working great, I hope the rain and windast all night to really test my set up. If you don't have an underquilt this is an excellent first choice.

Audrey L.Audrey L.: We LOVE these underquilts! Great quality, stitching
and comfort! Our family (dad, mom, 5y.o., 1y.o.) has 2 of the singles we have been pairing with a few double hammocks for the last few years. My only regret is that I didn't start with the double underquilt. Don't get me wrong. The singles have been spot on and have worked wonderfully but the space in the double is absolutely worth it. It isn't much bigger then the singles (packing wise) and adds very little weight but its so much better to get a side lay or even just hanging out in it. The underquilts keep us very comfortable with out being to warm or to cold. I can absolutely see our family using these for years to come.

trevasaurus wrecks: Let me start by stating that i've been a hammock camper for the better part of a decade - well before this trend got (pardon the pun) got off the ground, and i've seen things come and go, and i've tried many of them - much to my chagrin.
Every hammock camper has had this issue - your ground facing body parts can get mighty cold! Depending on the hammock you use, and its sleeping setup/entry, sometimes an extra blanket or an sleeping pad are sufficient.
In the case (my case) of being a Hennesy owner with the original bottom entry, neither of the above items have ever really worked all that well - slipping, sliding, bunching, ect.
This product from One Tigress (albeit a MIC product) has been a godsend! After a good week and a half of use in the Colorado high country it's proven to be a solid (and warm) investment.

Pros: compact, light weight, WARM, easy to use and pack up, color matched my hammock, compression sack included.
Cons: cheap bungie cord (easy fix). no attachment for side stabilizers with Hennesy Hammocks (granted, this is picking nits), maybe a bit too expensive?.
The pros greatly outweigh the cons - which were easily remedied with some good ole...
