D.: Purchased the 15'5 ladder to take on road trips with our new RV. The first thing my husband said when we unboxed it was 'oh wow, it's much nicer than I thought it would be'. Truly compact, it will fit easily into our trailer storage compartment. Although we knew its weight when we purchased it, I have to admit that it's a little heavier than we 'imagined' it would be. That being said, it extends quickly, and folds down just as fast. It's sturdy, easy to climb, and I believe this ladder will become our 'go to' ladder at home, as well, for exterior projects around the house. We are thinking of ordering another one, as this ladder would make a good gift for a family member this Christmas.

Ron: Overall, this is an outstanding ladder that is very sturdy and easy to use. To me however, it has one very large design flaw. In order to extend the ladder to an intermediate height, you must start at the bottom and work your way up. Unfortunately, you cannot extend it much more than six feet unless you lean the ladder towards you and work your way backwards. If you need ten feet for example, you need to extend it ten feet horizontally, then you can stand the ladder upright to use it. Notice in the video, the guy only extends it a few feet as he cannot reach any higher.
If there was a way to start at the top instead of the bottom, this would be the perfect ladder.

Mr. Fabien Marsaleix: J'ai acheté cette échelle pour nettoyer un mur recouvert de lierre qui menaçait la toiture de ma maison.
Je n'ai pas beaucoup de place j'ai donc opté pour une échelle télescopique. C'est une très bonne surprise, elle est lourde mais portable par une seule personne, elle se déplie très facilement et nous a laissé une impression de bonne qualité tout au long de la journée. Nous avons plusieurs fois modifié sa hauteur sans aucun problème et elle se replie super rapidement.
Comme toutes les échelles il faut bien entendu la poser sur une base stable et solide mais l'ensemble laisse un sentiment de qualité, on ne s'est pas sentis en danger à aucun moment.

Just an Opinion: Since you must open the ladder from bottom - up, the ladder cannot be raised next to a building. After getting past a few rungs, one cannot reach the rest of the rungs to further extend the ladder. Works find if laying the ladder down, but must then raise the entire ladder. To lower the ladder, have strong thumbs to unlock and grip both beams (towards the bottom) at the same time while balancing the ladder. Also, may be a problem opening in tight quarters such as a small room with high ceiling. Amendment: Recently I was contacted by the company whom bent over backwards trying to satisfy my issues with the product. I informed them they were not at fault, but I was, for not doing more research. I could not believe how concern they were regarding my satisfaction on this product. One could only wish all companies would treat their customers this way! I will not hesitate to recommend this company to others and/or make further purchases from them! The original review is not a "negative review", but an honest opinion and one should do research before purchasing an item!

Agent47: This was a great purchase, I had an old standard aluminum ladder and replaced it with this. Easy to move it around and store it. Two issues with it: When it first arrived and I tried it out, one of the rungs is a little sticky and doesn't retract by itself and needs a little help. Second I wish it had a slight extension on the top instead of a flat top so it can grab onto stuff better instead of sliding around. So good for flat surfaces like sides of houses, not so much for rounder objects like trees because it has nothing to at the top to help it stop from sliding. I almost fell off once because of that.

Fred Bollinger: This ladder is very sturdy. It does have the cross bar at the bottom to stabilize it. I do not like heights at all so I was concerned that it might wobble. It went together easy. It extends and retracts easily even with one person. I purchased a 15.5 foot ladder to give me a few feet of over hang at the top so I’d be able to easily climb off onto the roof and it worked like a charm. I did have to contact customer service for one of the latches not operating correctly on the top rung. Rather than go through Amazon I went directly to the seller. They immediately helped me and corrected the problem. Great ladder and customer service. The company stands behind its product. The only worry you should have buying this ladder is getting the correct length for the job you need to do.

echobunnyechobunny: I got this ladder for projects around the house. We have an aluminum 16’ ladder, but it’s big & cumbersome, not easy to get around the house inside. I’d looked at several ladders and decided on this one because it looked really easy to extend and close, it seemed very safe and I like the extra stabilizing base.

The first project we used it on was installing security cameras. That involved getting into the attic, which didn’t have a ladder, and installing the cameras on the front and back of our 2-story home, just below the roof. The ladder is a bit heavy, but it was easy enough for us to set it up in a closet to climb into the attic, then to carry it outside.

I like that I can choose to extend it partially or all the way. It’s great being able to push 2 buttons & drop all the rungs down rather than having to drop each rung individually like many other ladders I looked at. It does weigh 39lbs, if I recall correctly, but it’s easy enough for me to carry with the handle and the straps keep all the rungs closed.

I’d thought the weight limit was excessive since neither of us is even close to 330lbs, but I hadn’t thought about us possibly...
