BostonJack: I bought this to try to eradicate cigarette, mildew, and dead mice in the wall smells from a house, and I am truly amazed at how well it worked. My only complaint is that the directions are very basic and just describe how to operate the unit. No recommendations on placement in a room, or when/why to use low, medium, or high settings, and how many hours you should set the timer for in various situations. I went to the website and there was nothing there, either. So I used it on the 'high' setting for 8 hours at a time in various parts of a very large older house. You definitely have to air the house out after using it because ozone has a weird smell, but after that, the smells were completely gone.
