Green Air Pro 2 Plate HEPA Alpine Air Purifier with Ozone Generator for Improved Air Quality

Maxine Wells: Home not used over last winter and had a horrible smell. Thought I was in real difficulty. Maybe I hadn't cleaned the floors well enough before laying new flooring....and no way was I going to rip them up and start again. I was ready to cry. I have used an ozone generator before. Did some research and chose this one for ALL the options it has. Ran it several days and the difference was amazing. Turned out to be DEAD mice. I no longer have any strange odor in the home. Easy to use if you read the instructions first. Power switch on back, and the buttons on the front raise and lower strength of options. Couldn't smell the ozone until I figured out the up button increases out put. Duh! Very clean looking piece of equipment that doesn't look out of place in a home. I believe it was worth the price as you pay for what you get. Plus
they advertise as a FAMILY business and I am more willing to support small than large.

Bob Lee: I bought one in 2018. It ran almost continuously 24 hours a day for 4 years to both filter the air and remove odors from the carpet at my martial arts school.

The ozone feature runs in 30 minutes increments up to 3 hours. We would use the ozone overnight. Since buying the machine, the ozone truly eliminated odors in our space of roughly 2300 sf., which virtually eliminated the need for professional carpet cleaning.

Our machine started having a problem in the past month where it wouldn’t turn on despite various attempts to get it to work (there’s a power button in front, another power switch in the back and a metal switch that has to be kept In the right position when you remove and reinsert the hepa filter for cleaning). I bought an identical replacement. Also, at year 3, I bought some replacement ozone plates because the original ones lost their efficacy. I feel I got my money’s worth for the amount of use we got out of the machine.

eebant: This Green Air purifier has been a Godsend. We have a puppy that thinks wee wee pads are for tearing up and wood flooring is the best place to pee. Plus we have an elderly female dog who doesn’t always make it outside and I swear, she does a gallon of pee in one squat.

Cleaning up with detergents helps but if you don’t clean up a spill as soon as possible, urine leaks into the floor boards. And it seems that even if you let the dogs out before you leave to go shopping, they will ALWAYS pee before you get home! I kept smelling “pee” even though the floor was cleaned, just because of seepage into the floorboards.

Looked on Amazon and read the reviews of just about all of the air purifiers. This one seemed the best and covers such a large number of square feet. Our house is 3400 square feet. We put it in the living room which is at the left side of the house. Our master bedroom is right above the living room. The stairway is on the right side. I can actually smell the ozone in the bedroom coming from the machine.

Of course, I’ve turned it down since then. I didn’t realize how powerful this little unit was. Took away all the odors.

John F. Wright: I've used an EcoQuest "Fresh Air 2" for about five years now and just purchased the Green Air Pro. I'm impressed, at a much lower cost the Green Air Pro seems to be superior to the EcoQuest unit.

The Green Air Pro is *significantly* heavier, that should only bother you if you are carrying it around a lot.

The primary feature that I like with the Green Air Pro is the ability to individually turn on and off the sterilizer (UV lamps) purifier and anion functions. This means that you have far more control over what features you want to use vs the Ecoquest.

Even if you don't get a message to replace the UV lamps, it is a good idea to replace them every two to three years anyway. (even if they still "glow") In my opinion the UV lamp function is perhaps the most valuable feature in an air purifier. I've used other air purifiers that used UV lamps and they worked great (killing mold)!

The other distinguishing feature of the Green Air Pro is the addition of a HEPA filter (the EcoQuest does not have one).

Both are fairly quiet on minimal settings.
