OCOOPA Ultra-Absorbent Microfiber Beach Towel

MiLa: Das Strandtuch ist wirklich schön und definitiv ein Eyecatcher, auch nach mehrmaligem waschen.Leider ist der Druck nur einseitig und die Rückseite weiß gestreift (Fleckenempfindlich). Hat seinen Zweck dennoch erfüllt. Sand ließ sich leicht entfernen. Zum Abtrocknen kann es ebenso genutzt werden, Saugfähigkeit wurde durchs Waschen verbessert. Es trocknet zudem recht schnell. Trotz des Preises würde ich es wieder kaufen.

sonya peace: I really love this, im not a small girl so needed a bigger towel I was not disappointed at all. I decided to do my review after I used it for a couple of months, I didn’t think a thin towel could dry me so quickly, and after drying myself after my sea swims it’s not heavy like a normal towel gets either. It is so easy to wash and very quick to dry, I have been sea swimming today in October and I wouldn’t be without it.. fantastic buy I can’t recommend it highly enough

Regina Swann: Perfect towel for the beach and pool. I washed it and it said not to put it in the dryer with heat so I air dried it in the dryer and it took almost 2 hours to dry it. I sure hope it doesn’t take that long when I hang it up outside or while I’m at the beach. It said it is quick dry but not so much when air dried in the dryer. I love the towel though and the size is amazing!

TNJN: I don’t think reviews of products are useful until the product has actually been used. So I’m writing this review after two lengthy back country trips. We bought these to use on a trip to St. John USVI in 2021. They look very nice and roll up nicely. We washed and dried first per instructions and did not use fabric softener. They don’t feel like other microfiber fabric I’m familiar with. Soft but kind of heavy. After hiking to remote beaches and swimming in USVI, we found the towels to be a nice size for drying off and sitting on the beach, but we were disappointed that they didn’t seem very absorbent. But, they sure did get wet. Even after direct sun for 30 minutes or more, they stayed wet, too wet to put in a backpack. Nothing like hiking back with a wet towel around your neck. 2nd trip in 2023 driving around rural southern Mexico visiting remote beaches. Same issue. After using them at beaches all day, we laid them out in the back of our SUV and drove several hours back home. Then we hung them on the line in 90 degree heat overnight. Still wet in the morning. …Just a simple girl living a simple life…: Could it be used as a towel? Yes. Is it like what you use at home every day? No.

Personally, I like a fabric more absorbent for a towel, even at the beach. This is a thin flannel-type fabric like what is used to make baby receiving blankets. It’s soft but not fluffy absorbent. It IS absorbent but it’s different feel against your skin. I would use it in a pinch as a towel but would be thinking ICK, NO while doing it.

I bought this to use as a beach blanket. This company sells this same product, different prints and sizes, as a beach blanket but I liked this print the best. I sewed sturdy ribbon looped onto the corners so that I could stake it into the sand to keep it from blowing away. Worked perfectly! (Their blanket version already have this.)

You are able to shake 99% of the sand off it whether it’s wet or dry. The little that’s left is not problematic at all and much less than what a towel would hold. It also dries quickly, is light to carry, and takes up less space than a traditional beach blanket.

DesignerChick: I now have this towel I'm 2 sizes. I love that it folds/rolls up to nothing and is super absorbent. Love the design of the graphics, love the softness. Love the elastic band sewn into it so when you fold and roll it up, it stays put. Even when wet, it does take up a lot of space in my bag.

It's especially great for training in Triathlon as it's a great training matt. To eliminate sand getting in the least amount of places as possible. I have the bath towel size and the oversized beach blanket size. The bigger one is really great if friends want to share. We can get 6 peopels gear bags and still stand on an edge to put on or take off a wetsuit.

Washes perfect. No change to size or shape after 1st wash or 10th wash. Colors don't bleed bit I only wash with like colors.

Note on WASHING and CARE:

Personally I DO NOT USE Fabric softener. Like on any micro fiber type yoga/Sports towels, I don't use fabric softener as it breaks down the absorption qualities and makes towels feel "greasy". Also, I splurge and use The Laundress Sport Detergent on all my tri, workout and yoga clothes and towels (basically anything with nylon or elastic), and my stuff lasts far...
