O-Cedar ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop with 3 Refill Pads for Quick Cleaning, Red

RP: Honestly, I don’t love this, but that’s for many of the same reasons I don’t love Swiffer flat mops.

I don’t like pushing dirt around with a dirty mop pad, and having to change the pad out 2-3 times per mopping session is so tedious. That being said, sometimes you just don’t have the time to break out the standard yarn mop, and you have to make do.

This is probably the best flat mop I’ve tried, and it’s relatively well designed.

That being said, I really hate the angle the sprayer comes out. It sprays SO FAR up that it’s getting my walls/under cabinets more than the floor if I’m too close. The only way to make the sprayer angle work right is if the mop is at 90° to the floor, which is a huge annoyance and really hinders your flow while mopping. I’d love for them to make the angle of the sprayer adjustable in future models.

Otherwise, it’s a solid mop that does just about as well as your usual flat mop with whatever floor cleaner you like.

Grape: Sadly, I never think the reviews for any products are necessarily accurate or even real on any website. In fact, I only look at the one star reviews and almost never look at the five star reviews! But my friend had some serious health issues, and wasn’t able to wash her floors for over a year! 😢
And she badly needed help!
After reading the product information about the O Cedar Promist Max I overcame my skepticism and decided to try it!!!!
and I will tell you anyone can easily use this device and have clean floors!!! And with just water!!!!
Both sides of the pad were totally black when I was done and it wasn’t a big kitchen. I took it off the pad and threw it in the washing machine, and was again surprised to see it came out of the washing machine looking brand new!! My friend then tried it and realized she was finally going to be able to wash her floors by herself!! She is thrilled!
The only issue may be the water bottle is not as easy to remove as either one of us would like! But it was doable!
When I bought this, I read another reviewer comment who said she did a search on Amazon and found the O cedar with 4 cleaning heads! I did the same thing and found...

Vanya_Jelezarova: I've had one of these spray mops before and the cartridge would come out every time I would swing the mop a little harder. This one stays put. The prayer works great, sprays a lot. The only downfall of it is that the sprayer is at an angle meant to spray the floor if the mop is sitting up right. So if you are leaning the mop handle and spray it will spray a little higher and furniture or other things that are in its way. I use water and white vinegar for my floors so its not a big deal, but if you use other cleaners they might stain things.

mark finglass: its rubbish for the cost of it. if you use warm water it doesn't clean the floor and if you use really hot water it leaks everywhere. Such a waste of money!

JLG: I got this today, put it together (very easy) then used it on my tiled kitchen floor.

One thing I noticed right away is that you need to be careful of the angle you hold the handle to make sure it doesn't spray your baseboards or the bottom of your furniture rather than the floor where you want it to spray. If you tilt the handle too far back, the spray doesn't go directly on the floor but sprays upright. I played around with it until I got the angle just right. One I did, it worked fine. You will need to play around with it to get the spray aimed exactly where you need it.

According to the O-Cedar website, these are made in the USA as opposed to China which is why I bought this. I'll review again in 6 months to see how well it holds up.
