Robin Menendez: Uplifting brings laughter and smiles. I would make copies of a particularly funny or pertinent page and place them around my unit on especially challenging days. They really helped lighten the load and strengthen the team. This would make a great gift for any nurse or any person who works in the field. I have truly enjoyed it!

jvanry: Nurses definitely get stressed and it has been proven that colouring is used to relieve stress... so why not give this to a nurse!? My mom has been nursing for over 30 years and I picked this up for her after a stressful time at work. I can honestly say that I have never seen her laugh so hard while flipping through a book - she absolutely loved it. If you know a nurse or see one in the hospital that needs a 'pick me up' this is it.

Heath: My wife is a nurse practitioner, and she is quite proud of being one. She has also always been a person who has enjoyed artistic pursuits. Unfortunately, between her busy work schedule, and our having four children under the age of ten, she doesn't have as many opportunities to create something artistic as she once did. I thought that something like his coloring book, while not entirely "artistic", hold give her an outlet for that creative desire, while having a little fun with her profession as well. I was correct.
The images to be colored in this book are very well drawn, and have a lot of opportunities for freedom of expression, within the obvious constraints of a coloring book. I don't know what their definition of "snarky" is, because it seems pretty straightforward and mature, for lack of a better word, but if that's how they want to describe it, far be it for me to argue with them.
So, if you have a nurse in your life, or know someone who does, and they like coloring books (I know they're all the rage these days), this is a great gift. I'm sure they'll enjoy it. I know my wife does.
