E.D bored in Brick: I bought this to help my husband's independence as he used the walker. Problem is that we have very narrow door to the bathroom where he needs to kind of side-step the walker into the bathroom. When he had the basket on the front of the walker, and then had to turn walker to get thru doorway, it was not possible for him and the walker (with basket attached) to make it thru the doorway at the same time.
If you have no space limitations, I'm sure it would work fine.

KeyLimePie: Gave this walker basket to my mother-in-law yesterday for her 98th birthday. She has a one bar (curved bar) walker from Invacare. It fit perfectly! Easy on and off. The cup holder was included and was just fine in quality. (You could also zig zag a mini bungee cord across one end of the basket to create a cup holder.) She loved it and said it was exactly what she wanted. Definitely her favorite gift.

justnanastuff: I'd had looked at a lot of other similar baskets, with and without liners before deciding to purchase this one.
It is definitely sturdier and less hassle to attach with the top metal lip and swinging metal arms that attach firmly to the frame.
Other brands have a hook and loop material method of attaching the basket to the frame and I think that that would be too difficult to attach with arthritic hands. Plus if you don't hook it properly , it could fall unexpectedly.
The plastic basket insert seems to be pretty much the same in all the other brands that I checked out and although it seems a little on the flimsy side when you remove it for cleaning, it is quite sturdy when placed in the basket.
Having to remove the basket every time you want to fold the walker frame at first seems a bit of a hassle but leaving it on while you fold just doesn't work. Besides, the little bit of inconvenience in having to remove the basket makes up 1000 times for not being able to safely carry things around while walking.

Anastasia S.: I will admit, when I delivered this to my grandma, she gave me the old side eye. She just recently started using a walker, and I don't think she was exactly ready to admit something like this would be useful. After she conceded to allowing me to put it on her walker, I'm happy to say it has never been taken off. She uses it for her cordless phone, tissues, books, and everything in between. It was super simple to attach to her walker, and it absolutely will not budge out of place while it's on there. It came with a rigid plastic liner in the bottom of the basket that has a cup holder molded into one corner of it. It's not of the highest quality, but it keeps smaller items from falling out. It has given her loads of freedom & now I worry less about her having an accident trying to carry things from room to room. $10 for her independence and my peace of mind is a bargain in my book.

Kindle Customer: A tremendous help for moving things around with me. It fits my curved front walker perfectly, it is stable and easy to attach. Also has a clear plastic tray liner in the bottom so small things don't fall through. It is not made for very heavy items (purses, very large books, etc) as it will tip the walker over but it is great for my water bottle, meds, cell phone, smaller books/magazines, etc. My only complaint is that I can barely get it through the door of my 1/2 bath but that is because it is a very small doorway. Otherwise it is great and a very good price. Received it in 2 days with Amazon Prime!
