Aaron Aguilera: At First the Corktown scent was way to strong so immediately washed it out. Second day tried again but not my moustache area and what a difference in feel. The tobacco scent is very strong but after the third trying it the scent isnt that strong and my wife Surprised me and actually liked it. Not for every one but for the Contractor who cuts his finger to the bone and just puts super glue and wrap with electrical tape abd enjoys Nice Bowl with his coffee Fireside then this smell is up your alley!!

Boyhous: I tried several different balms and butters not knowing which ones I'd really like. So far Bossman's beard jelly has been the worst (scent, texture, and application) and the Corktown has been the best. I absolutely love this scent as its just right...not overpowering or nauseating at all. Out of all the balms/butters Ive tried this one gives the most noticeable results...leaves my beard super soft, healthy looking, and shiny. It doesnt give any super "hold" like some thicker balms but this is a butter... powerful enough to tame any unruly flyaways. Highly recommended. Very happy with my purchase!! I will be buying more from this company and product line definitely! 👍👍

UPDATE: Just wanted to update that I still love this butter as stated above but wanted to comment on the scent for those questioning what it smells like. It really smells like Play Doh!! To me I love the smell of Play Doh..always loved that smell as a kid growing up. I love it now and still highly recommend this beard butter!!!!

Ken: Scent is as advertised, but it is potent and will last (so you better like it, otherwise you will shower it out...they sell sampler packs from DGC which I highly recommend). All the DGC butters are top notch, your skin and beard will just eat this stuff up. I don't even bother with anyone but DGC for butter anymore, beard is 7 inches. Use this at night on a damp beard and wake up to a lush beard you can run a comb through.

Brent Duncan: Very nice and workable product, melts well in the plan for application.
There are very nice smells of tobacco and vanilla but yhw cedar is not spicwy like cedar should be.
There is a overwhelming smell of something like honey suckle or some perfume like smell that is very off putting.
Sadly I have tried it on my beard once and the smell was so string I cannot use it again.
Without the perfume overtone it would smell awesome, sadly it takes over and ruins the quality of the product.
I bought based on all the positive reviews, but the smell isn't man-ly at all and my most important critic - the wife said nope nope nope.
Sorry guys this one struck out for me.

Amazon Customer: The butter is great, scent is like a yankee candle lit right under your nose.

The butter itself applies easy and works perfectly. No more itch or pain from dry skin and my beard looked healthy.

My only issue was the scent. It has a very strong vanilla scent that made me nauseous, especially with a mask on. Of course this experience might be different for you, or maybe my batch just got hit with a little too much vanilla.

Either way, buter is great, scent...is nice but too overpowering.

David Cosilion: Great beard butter nice scent thus far I used cherry tobacco and this one very different scents but great moisturizer on both absorbs into skin and let's beard look shiny and healthy. Recommend both scents are amazing this one though is stronger so lingers all day apply lightly it will smell the whole room no lie.
