Non-Stick Silicone Dog & Cat Bowl Mat - Waterproof Food Pad & Cushion

Shadah: I have one of these just inside the side doorway for wet shoes when coming in out of the rain. I had been using plastic trays for a few years, but these rubber mats don't slide around. And the lip on the edges is enough to keep water in, but I can still open the door all the way over the mat.
I'm using another one of these on the floor along the side of the fireplace where I lean pointy, metal fireplace tools. Just had the floor replaced, and the mat will prevent the tools from scratching the new tiles.
I also use these for their intended purpose. They work nicely for my cat's food and water bowls.

Barrette Nicholson: My dog makes such a mess when she drinks water. She gets it all over the place. I used to use a much bigger pad which was made of cork like material so it was great about absorbing the water and allowing it to dry. I moved and my new kitchen isn’t quite as big so I needed a smaller pad. This works perfectly for the size, I love that it’s rubber, so it doesn’t slide when my dog tries moving her bowls (to indicate they’re empty), but when it collects water, it smells really bad. I wash it at least once a day. Other than that, it’s great.

My little guy likes to take his food out of the bowl and put it on the floor and then eat it. 😂. This is easy to clean. So happy that I bought this.

AnthonyAnthony: We have an automatic feeder for our cat when we're not home/traveling and we replaced the bowls with a food puzzle since our cat scarfs his food too quickly. When he pushes the food out of the puzzle it falls on our carpet only to leave "cheeto dust" behind that builds up and stains over time. This mat was perfect to prevent that from happen and is easier to clean than the carpet.

During shipping it is rolled into itself which makes the sides raise up like other comments mentioned. They could solve this issue by rolling it the other way so the sides would curve into the floor instead until it flattens over time. Because of our special use for the mat, it doesn't bother me especially since it's on carpet. I do wish it was a bit more rigid since we see waves (seen in photos), but this might be amplified since it's on carpet.

The mat itself is minimal and modern and with all the color options, can fit any decor/space. It was definitely worth the money for our special use.

Megan: When I first unrolled this little placement I wasn't too sure about it, as it is pretty thin. My dog and three cats like to pull the water out of their dish and, though this is thin, it's incredibly helpful! My old plastic mat had grooves in it for a design and it was a hard plastic. I constantly noticed hair and dirt gathering in the grooves. This mat is silicone, it is thin and easy to wipe clean. Since there are no grooves, I hardly find any kind of hair and absolutely no food dust or anything. The edges are a little raised to keep the water from spilling on the floor, a feature that is definitely helpful since my cats like to use their paws to scoop water out! It was very affordable and saves my wood floors from any messes!
