JB: Great little light for riders that don't use an under-saddle bag. Super low profile. Mounts firmly to saddle rails. Very, very bright. Unscrews from socket for easy recharging. Charges quickly and holds the charge for hours. Multiple flashing modes. Inexpensive. Mine lasted nearly 3 years of weekly use before the charging jack detached and fell into the unit. I immediately bought another.

I've tried a few others and they either haven't worked well, weren't bright enough, or had some sort of design issue. The only issue I have with this one is that I prefer the Automatic mode best (because I always forget to turn these things on & off, and don't want to have to be concerned with gear in the first place). This means that it turns on automatically for you when you start your ride, but unless the light thinks it's dark enough to turn on, it won't turn on. All of these bike lights that have an auto-on/off mode should include a means of disabling the light-sensing feature. We want the ability to use these whenever we ride - which is usually during the DAYTIME. Otherwise, though you won't get the flashing mode to work in Automictic mode in daylight, the saving grace here is that the brake DOES still work in daylight.
That aside, this is nice. I had no problem getting the assembly fasted to my seat as per the instructions. If you would rather have the connector that allows you to attach it to the seat STEM rather than directly under the seat, you can purchase that separately for about $9, but I feel it should definitely come with both options....

This one has a plenty of reviews so you kind of get the idea about what you are buying.
Nice surprise, it is very well made. Easy to control and easy to install. I added some electrical tape on the rails so they don't get scratched. Light is super sleek under the seat and bright enought. Overall definitely a 5 star product. And now lets hope that the battery last long enough both with charge and for some time to come too :)

This light is amazing. It's built very well, with metal, and has a nice weight to it. The light screws onto its "base", which is zip tied to your seat mount. This is great because you just unscrew the light itself to charge it and then reattach, very easy. As of right now, I've used it for a total of about 4 hours and have left it outside without charging for 3 weeks. Still haven't had to charge it and it's going strong, and bright.
The settings are really cool too, I'm impressed. The pulsating setting looks rad .. sexy, even .. and the accelerometer actually works! People are impressed by it. The braking feature still works when the light is on "manual" mode.
As for mounting, yeah, like the title says, people need to stop whining. Just because zip ties are plastic and cheap and universal and found everywhere does not mean they suck. Would some fancy, custom-made mount be cool? Yeah, I guess. But do you really need it? No. Think about it, using zip ties ensures you always have a cheap remedy for a "mount failure" (haha) or if you want to upgrade your seat. Too lazy to go to the hardware store and pick up some zip ties or order them? Well, that's...

What a clever bike light!
Commuting through London I have seen several crashes caused by bikes breaking suddenly. I bet if all bikes had break lights like this then that number would be reduced.
The light itself is bright, very visible in both in daytime and darkness. To put it into context, your eyes get sore looking directly at it although it isn't too bright to blind other road users.
There are two settings controlled by a switch on the back; manual or auto. Manual allows you to stick to one mode. Auto detects movement and turns the light on or off for you. Auto is useful if you keep it in the shed and want to leave it on the bike. As soon as you come back to the bike it will sense movement and start glowing again. If you want to put this in your backpack between rides you should set it to manual otherwise it will keep turning itself on in your bag.
The button on the front cycles though the different modes (off, on, pulsing, flashing).
The unit itself looks surprisingly robust. The casing is metal not plastic which was a nice surprise. The light screws into the holder reassuringly. The LEDs are positioned around the edge of...

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this light looks and functions for the price.
It looks great, has a nice bright glow that is visible from a significant distance without dazzling drivers' and other riders' eyes. I mostly bought it for how it looked and the easy light weight mounting setup tucked under the seat, but the brake light feature is actually pretty cool and works as expected. Now are any drivers going to be paying attention specifically to the tail light enough to notice and identify that it means you're slowing down when the light gets brighter? Who knows. Still cool and it works flawlessly.
Installation is incredibly easy and it is secured solid with no rattling on the couple of seats I've seen it installed on.

Porter: The zip-tie mount works very well and creates a secure, stable base for the light. At night, I'm lit up like a Christmas tree! Of all of the lights I use, this light may be my favorite! Bright, easy-to-use. Effective.
