John Manzo: The light works well. This would have been a 5 star review however the package arrived with the clip broken, just a bent plastic "S" with the metal pieces completely missing. This wasn't much of an issue since I was going to remove the clip anyways and replace it with a string. The clip would have been a nice option though.

We have both been so happy with it that I actually took time to write a review
in response to some of the unknown mentioned issues, this is what we found so far
To attach to life vest rather than wasting zip ties, use a Small water bottle carabiner/ clip holds it very securely Bought as we were going thru a glow stick every nite whether we fished for 1 hour or 8.
This has been a much more flexible option
It has been wet with saltwater several times, even thru a self- inflating life vest deployment, and withstood fresh water wash downs.
The light it emits, esp green is extremely bright, even under bright moon conditions. Dark nites it has been almost too bright. plenty of light emits well thru the full length and with the easy twist off top the end emits enough to be used to light way when walking in emergencies when he lost his headlight in the ocean.
To make charging easier was able to install a magnetic charger tip that we use on all of our various household electronics and the cap is...

Viral Thread: Bought a pair of these for my son who really enjoys the breakable glosticks usually found during holidays on store shelves. We bought these as a replacement and he loves them. Would be excellent for camping or anywhere you need colorful, low level light source.

Greg allard: Pretty simple got what i expected price is a bit high but they are Way less of a pain then the other ones from nite ize and you get 5 modes Rainbow RGB and red flash sooo a bit more then the other ones but in the end worth it.

No complaints would recommend.

ritualm: There just aren't many alternatives to disposable chemical glowsticks that don't either involve 1) 3X AAA batteries or 2) non-replaceable lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Add in my own requirement for USB-C input and it's impossible. So while I liked this rechargeable glowstick, my gripes, in no particular order:

- micro-USB input; I'd love to be able to ditch cables/adapters just for this thing
- light output is simply not very high across all light modes
- no white light output
- no flashing green/blue modes
- entering in and out of lockout requires holding the power button for 4-5 seconds; my other flashlights accomplish the same task at 2-3 seconds

If this Nite Ize glowstick still appeals to you, great. Otherwise, a conventional RGB[W] flashlight with a diffuser would work much better.

Jon Oz: Comparing this to the battery powered version made by Nite Ize, it is definitely not as bright. The fiber optic tube tends to push light out of the end rather than illuminate around. Still not bad in complete darkness or using it as a quick marker. Def, not a replacement for a standard chemlight or the battery version. In dusk and dawn lighting, the fiber optic gets washed out and is not bright at all. The fiber optic is flexible, so it seems like it would last. The end cap does have an O-ring and seals nicely. Though the plastic threads do not seem to robust. I would not just rely on the caribiner for attachment. I use a secondary attachment such as a rubber band or hair tie to secure it to my pack. I currently use it as a pack marker for night hikes. And rather than burning through batteries every few weeks, the rechargeability is more cost efficient.

SS: Works as advertised. These pictures were taken on my phone so they were on the "auto-expose" setting so they may look way brighter than they actually are, but they are pretty close to Cyalume brand chem-lights in terms of illumination (the material of the "stick" is bend-able fiber-optic-like material, so for full brightness you need to place it against something so the light has something to reflect off of, otherwise the light travels almost straight through the fiber optics and out of the bottom). The packaging says 8.5 hours, left it on overnight and timed it, woke up the next morning and sure enough it lasted around 8.5~ish hours, which is how long Cyalume brand chem-lights ACTUALLY last for (they say 12 hours, but they only maintain true brightness for 8~ish hours, the remaining 4 hours they are very dim). Recharges in about 1.25 hours, like it says on the box.
One thing I haven't tested at the time of this review is how "tough" and how truly waterproof it is. I mean, I can submerge it in the sink and it still works LOL, so I guess there's that. Seems well built enough to chuck at a wall and have it still work...but I haven't really taken it out for a real stress test so...

Comma Team: It's a rechargeable glowstick which is a big selling point for me.
It has 5 light modes; changing, red, green, blue, and flashing red.
It clips on easily, and is easy to remove cap to recharge.

My complaints would be;
1. it's not bright as their other glowstick because they're using a clear tube which is bright to see, but doesn't emit a strong light around its surroundings to navigate. Kind of sucks. I know it's not meant to be a flash light but it could at least give some decent light to my surroundings.
2. There's no white light option. Due to the above reasons the colors aside from green don't give off enough lights to see with it. A white light could be good not just for a better light source but to make reading text easier with a white colored.
3. More of a concern, the cap can come off a little too easily and I worry that I MIGHT lose the glowstick. But with how I setup my glowstick it should be fine.

Overall I still would recommend this glowstick since it can recharge as oppose to needing to replace batteries. You lose out on brightness but you get much longer usage and I use this glowstick more often.
