sb: I've been using this rope for backcountry camping for years. It's super light, easy to see at night and doesn't hold water so your rope doesn't triple in weight after it gets wet. So far still using the original length I bought with no problems. Used many times each summer. Best rope for backcountry camping I've come across.

Falcon: I have gone through a number of paracord products but keep coming back to this one product for light duty tarps for family camping. The interwoven reflecting tape makes things much safer for family camping. No more tripping over that hidden line. The bright green shows up great in the day and the reflecting line shows up great at night.
At remote sites, it's a great help on foggy nights coming back from an outhouse or thunderbox.
Haven't lost a stake since using it around those more expensive three-sided stakes.
The reflective tape makes it a bit coarser than regular 275 tactical, but seeing these thinner lines in a group camping trip just outweighs any mild line roughness.
Tie it on the ends of zippers on sleeping bags, jackets, and double ended bags. When it's cold and dark, a quick find to open and close is great.
The bright green fits in with the natural setting but still stands out to see easy.
Highly recommend for camping with older children, young adults, and novice campers.
Ginormous safety first utility.

Stephen Mcleod: So, first night was amazing. The reflectiveness was outstanding. Never seen any rope that thin reflect that brightly before. However, on night two the rope had stretched and it had lost its reflectiveness on sections of the rope. Some areas, say a foot in length would still be bright and the next foot dull. On returning home and leaving the rope to return to size, majority of the reflective thread returned to the standard of the first night. But there was a few smaller patches that remained but only on one side of the rope.
This is been an on going nightmare I’ve had, buying so much different kinds. This is still by far the best regardless of the above. I don’t know it’s breaking strength, but for guylines it’s perfect!
I’m only giving 4 stars cause of the drop/loss of reflectiveness.
Maybe one day I can get rope that is just one long strand of reflective rope.

Dave: This coil comes with one end tied in a quick release knot which keeps the cord neatly rolled even when out of the packaging. Slip the loose end out and cut to length.
The secret to using this cord in the dark is to hold your flashlight up beside your head, so that the reflected light comes straight back to your eye. The reflective spiral chips act like tiny mirrors and even one of them catching the light will show extremely well in the dark, even if the flashlight is set to moonlight settings.
I have used it on tarp guy lines, decorative knot key fobs or handle extensions on small knives with a lanyard hole in the grip, tie a piece on anything you don't want to lose on the floor of the car or in the grass or dirt at night.
Seal the ends of any cuts with a few seconds of heat from a lighter or match to prevent fraying. Burnish while still hot to smooth out sharp edges.

TumblemarkTumblemark: Since there is so much concern about reflectivity I thought I'd set up a photo and show six options. This is a flash photo taken at night.
The far left sample is Blue Water 3.5 mm reflective nylon cord. It is smooth and soft, as you would expect Kernmantle cordage to be; the reflective threads are very bright, but there aren't a lot of them. Its breaking strength is 500 lbf. (2.2 kN).
Next is 2.5 mm Nite Ize. This cord has more reflective threads and they kinda stick out on the surface. It reflects the most light of all the cords, but its dark green color is hard to see in daylight. It feels kinda stiff and lumpy in the hand rather than flexy.
Next is the 2.0 mm (as I measured it) "fluorescent" Reflective Guyline. It has fewer reflective threads and less reflected light, but its non-reflective fibers are bright yellow-green, so it stands out well when illuminated. There's no identification of the material, but assuming it's nylon, the tensile strength would be about 175 lbf. (0.7 kN). And assuming it's nylon it may stretch a when wet.
Then we have 1.5 mm Kelty TripTease. Its gold color stands out and its reflective fibers work well. TripTease is reputed...

G Smith: Big fan of this stuff. Sturdy, no noticeable stretching, and it looks good if that matters to you. For most of the things i use it for I prefer this over paracord. I have tested it in various conditions and it preformed well in all of them. To be fair I have not tried to push it to a breaking point yet or any major tests but in every practical use I have for it , it has preformed above and beyond. I'm not sure of the other options for it but I got the green variation . I have already started the process of changing out all my paracord for this. Which is a little heart breaking since I have a nice stock pile of it. But this product is definitely worth it. I would be curious to see what other folks think of this product and how it worked for them. The length was as advertised as well. To be fair I have not used it for a long period of time so I cant speak to its long term durability . But no noticeable wear so far .

Jason Clark: High quality cord with reflective strips so they are easier to see at night. Great for repairs on camping gear, backpacks or even as a makeshift shoelace if you're in that situation. Its small enough that it can be carried pretty much anywhere. Just remember that when you cut it, the ends will fray unless you melt them together with your favorite portable flame generator. Beyond the fraying (which is normal for this type of product), this is exceptionally useful and worth every penny I paid for it. I would definitely buy it again!

Hapa boy: Followup review. 1st purchased Nite Ize in 12/2013 and again in 1/2015. This cord is highly reflective when illuminated with a LED light. I'm sure it reflects well under halogen light too, all my torches just happen to be LED.
Boy Scouts are guy line blind. This stuff works GREAT to guy out my tents and light the up at night.
I've tied short lengths of cord to anything I don't want lose in the dark, keys, meds, knife, zipper pull, etc. We always make camp on Scout events on the dark. If all the gear is in the back of a pickup, 18" of cord tied to a bag makes it easy to spot when your light hits it. Fast pitch is good.
I started using an adjustable grip hitch knot to tighten my guy lines, and found If the grip hitch is tied too snug it appeared the reflective element woven into the cord cuts the sheath of the cord compromising its strength. I'll let you know how it goes.

Pedro Montes de Oca: La cuerda llegó un poco maltratada de algunas partes (lo normal en este tipo de material), y los puntitos que reflejan la luz hacen que no se deslice tan fácilmente como otras, sin embargo, es bastante resistente y práctica.
