Joris: This is a neat toaster oven, with a creative design. It heats up lightning fast, and cuts the time off of many of my common small baking jobs. The air fry works-brush whatever with oil, select air-fry and let the appliance do its thing. It’s a nice toaster over but not very tall. This hasn’t been an issue yet. It does fit a baking pan. I’m still getting to know the machine. Each new thing needs some monitoring since the time and temperatures are all less than with my last toaster oven. Once you get used to the controls, they’re intuitive. It’s a well thought out machine. I love it.

Pam: I should have bought this a long time ago! We use it every day, sometimes for every meal. From toast., pizza, asparagus, cauliflower, chicken strips, etc. we jus keep finding more and more things to make. We also bought one for the RV. The feature to stand up the machine when not in use is stellar. It takes up much less counter space. The Ninja uses less power than heating up the oven and cooks much faster. The only negative that I can find is that the selections list and darkness, etc. is rather difficult to see and can be confusing at first. Otherwise we love, love, love it!

VBop: After moving across the country, we were in the market for a new toaster oven especially since our regular Whirlpool oven takes ages to heat up. Wow, we are amazed by the capability of this countertop oven.

Pros:
-The flip up feature is a game changer! It saves so much counter space when not in use.
-Heats up incredibly fast. Huge timesaver and when starving, it helps get the food ready much faster than a stovetop or a regular oven.
-User friendly design of buttons and simple to understand.

Con:
-It's not very tall so you have to be careful that you don't stuff tall foods in this oven.

Jason Bourne: The media could not be loaded.  This thing is the bomb-diddly. I like my counter tops clean and clutter-free, and normal air fryers just take up too much space to leave out. This tip-up function is pure genius. You get a huge interior air fryer, toaster oven, or dehydrator that only takes up a fraction of its in-use size when in the upright position.

The light didn’t work on the first one delivered, so it was returned and replaced. The packaging is very good, but the light bulb itself might be incandescent as opposed to a tougher and longer-lasting LED. I don’t really know, but it didn’t work.

The controls on this are very intuitive, and the many functions are effective and easy to use. There are two LED panels on the face of the oven, and they both have large, easy-to-read numbers and letters. I love that there is a “target temp” and an “actual temp” reading. I also love that you can turn the light on inside at any time to see what’s going on in there without opening and letting all the heat out.

The basket holds a ton of food, but you should keep whatever you put in there in a single layer. Still, it can cook 2 or 3 times what average...

Will B.Will B.: I have mostly very good things to say, but two complaints that are source of annoyance basically every time I use it. It's more like 4.5 star than 4 star, but I'm working with what I've got.

The first issue is that the outside surfaces (the top, the sides), get scorching hot (like, fry an egg hot) within a couple minutes of this turning on. Even when you do something routine like toast a few slices of bread. And it takes a considerable amount of time to cool off again. The pre-heating on this thing is insanely fast, it's like the oven-equivalent of going from dial-up to broadband, but then it takes easily 20 minutes to cool off. Even if all I did was toast bread!

It's annoying in two ways. One is that it's a safety hazard for anyone not smart enough to avoid it. In my case, a cat. It stresses me out every time I use this that he's going to burn himself. If it at least cooled off a bit faster I might not mind as much, but even toasting bread has a 20 minute cool-down. The second way it's frustrating is that you are not supposed to put the oven into inverted/storage mode until it's cooled off, so it continues to take up a lot of counter space.
