JS09: Really enjoyed this book. Not really a psychological thriller, but more of a literary tale about toxic female friendships. Lots of important issues explored here such as family secrets, codependency, ableism, mental illness, eugenics, and class relations.

Kindle Customer: Really great ending and the path to get there was great! Though I am not sure the story will leave much of an impact. It was a great escape from the stresses of real life.

Poodle: The book read well. Good pace and clarity. I wished for more depth of both main characters, instead of only Sasha. I didn't predict the end, which was a good surprise. Overall a great read!

Joanne Bailey: I was totally unprepared for the ending! Another great read by Nina Manning!
This book could easily be a real life story.

Maureen Healy: Lots of twists and turns. Never sure who is hero or heroine and who is villain till the end and then it is more complicated, with broken people attempting to cope. Motivation for actions colors things, casting a shadow on actions.

Amira Castelli: The author’s descriptive style of writing pulls you in, and also makes you want to read the book from start to finish in one go. However, I did find it quite underwhelming in terms of endings. The author keeps you guessing until the end, but the ending for me sort of fell flat. It was still an enjoyable read.

I found this book entertaining, but in a completely different way than I would typically when reading a novel. The imagery was stunning, the characters were well defined, but the plot wasn’t as intricate as I expected.

Murrow Mulberry.: I LOVED this book it is one of the best i have read in a while and a change from the ones i often read. It does take you on a journey of twists and turns, some of them quite unexpected as the story progresses and Ava is more involved when really you tend to think that it is all about Caitlin.
Very good characters i thought and was pleased that Sasha who seemed to be the victim most of the time ended up really being quite The Victor. Until Gabi made an appearence at the wedding i was under the impression that Sasha and Chuck were romantically involved, i was totaly wrong. Very well written and i will look for more by this Author.
