Christina M.Christina M.: Nicorette used to have the best lozanges. It was well worth the money to pay extra for the name brand. They used to have a great minty flavor, smooth texture and would last up to an hour if you let them. The last shipment I received had a Nicorette label, but the lozanges were absolutely terrible! They have very little flavor now, a slimy/chalky texture and only last a few minutes. They are now almost identical to the generic brands. Nicorette also changed the packaging – the lozanges used to come in a poppac container and now they have a screw top like the generic brands do. I thought there must be some kind of mixup with my order when I received these abominations so I looked into it further and contacted Nicorrette directly. They admitted to changing the formula and the packaging because they have changed manufacturing plants - and they have no intention of going back to the old formula. Well, if that is the case it is time for me to look for a new brand. Why would I pay Nicorette prices for generic lozenges when I can buy generic lozenges for generic prices? I have a feeling that Nicorette is going to shoot themselves in the foot on this one. They are going to lose a lot of...

kevin: I used to be a heavy smoker and wanted to quit because I would run out of breath. Waking up would scare me sometimes… it felt like I was fighting for my life. After ordering these and following the instructions I’m able to wake up feeling more energetic and worried because I can take deeper breaths. I do recommend these! They helped me quit smoking.

RG: These made stopping smoking feel like cheating. Nicotine is the most addictive chemical so tapering off these are going to be another story, but using nicotine replacement will allow you to focus on changing your habits in regards to the mental and repetitive motion aspect of smoking. Use these to help stop the habit of smoking, then switch to the 2mg version and taper off. Seems like a winning formula.

Kris: These lozenges come in two (nearly identical) boxes but the taste varies greatly!! One has a screw-on cap and the other has a flip-open vial (which has a better flavor.) I'm sure that most people aren't aware of this difference just because of the container it's in. Apparently most distributors don't know this either and keep sending the wrong ones!!! The manufacturer should correct this on their boxing and keep the two item numbers separate from each other.
