tjk: I've had to start a diet where I'm monitoring calorie intake and salt intake. I was writing this all down on a piece of paper for all meals and drinks etc throughout the day. I was using a lot of paper. So i saw this calculator that had a tablet style pad attached to it. Now i am adding the calories and salt up on the calculator for each meal, writing the total on the pad and at the end of the day, adding all the totals up. Job done. End of the day, resetting the pad ready for the next day. So helpful!! And turning off the calculator doesn't turn off or reset the pad. Everything stays on the pad until you press the reset button yourself! First time I pressed it I thought it was broken as nothing erased. Turns out the screen was locked when I received it!! Slid the little piece of plastic to unlock, pressed the reset button, screen erased. Magic!! Only niggle I have is that the writing isn't very dark so it isn't as easy to read what's written as I'd have hoped, but to have a tablet / pad, attached to the calculator, with a stylus magnetically attached is just so useful, I'll "make do".

LizardMan: It works exactly as expected, but the writing pad isn't anywhere near as bright as the pictures suggest.

It's still totally useful, just feel the pictures are a little misleading.

L. E.: This works as expected. My only complaint is there's no way to connect the very tiny stylus to the case, except when I put it away (there's a magnetic slot). It's only a matter of time before it gets lost, unless I am very diligent about where I put it while working. Otherwise, no complaints!

MªrıəMªrıə: My school only requires a basic calculator for our business math class. So, I looked on amazon what's the best basic calculator they are selling that's rechargeable and there are so many of these to choose from. I chosed the cheapest they got for $12 bucks and it came today. While at the grocery store, I plug it in and recharged it. Came home and tried it and so far I loved it. I can write on it with the notepad and it is folding. It came with all the accessories and the stylus pen. Let's hope it will last.

JonWil: Much attention required when pressing keys as commands are not accepted across all the surface area of the keys. Press in the wrong spot and no instruction is recognized. Writing pad performs as advertised and visibility is quite good without the need for direct lighting or angle specific viewing. The stylus is neatly stored in and flush to the side of the case. It is smartly secured by magnet and ridged for effortless removal.

Jens: Mein erster Eindruck war: Kaputt! Die aufgeklappte "Notizseite" zeigte Verfärbungen ausgehend von den Scharnieren. Nach dem Laden des internen Akkus und dem Drücken des Löschknopfes wurde die Seite jedoch tiefschwarz.

Die Grundrechenarten sind vorhanden, ebenfalls eine Totalsumme.
Die Tasten des Rechners sind groß und auch weichem Gummi. Es fehlt ein Druckpunkt, die Bedienung ist jedoch OK. Es fehlt eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung.

Die Bedienungsanleitung ist knappgehalten. Eine Beschreibung der Taste "GT" fehlt zum Beispiel.

Schreiben auf dem Notizblock mutet wie auf einer alten Schiefertafel an: Die Schrift ist dünn, blau und nur in einer hellen Umgebung zu lesen. Die Notizen bleiben auch in ausgeschalteten Zustand erhalten. Löschen tut an sie über eine große Taste unter dem Rechner. Diese Löschfunktion kann über einen Schiebeschalter gesperrt werden.

Nerven tun Kleinigkeiten:
Das Gehäuse ist aus Hartplaste. Auf einer harten Schreibtischunterlage hat der Rechner beim Schreiben keinen Halt, etwas Gummierung hätte dem Gehäuse gutgetan.

Christian VChristian V: Der erste Eindruck ist besser als gedacht.
Die schrift ist sauber und deutlich zu erkennen. Allerdings nicht "leuchtend" sondern wie mit einen kleinen grünlichen Filzstift gezeichnet.

Der Taschenrechner funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Tasten sind aus Gummi. Man könnte etwas mehr gegendruck erwarten aber es gefällt dennoch.
Aufladen Per USB C überall möglich. Kein wechseln einer knopfzelle nötig wie bei manch anderen geräten. Der Stift hält sich selbst durch einen angebrachten magneten welches ebenfalls gut gefällt. Habe mir das gerät zum testen auf der Arbeit bestellt. Laut Handbuch reicht eine Akkuladung ca 3-6Monate. Perfekt für meine täglichen kurzweiligen Notitzen während ich im Betrieb unterwegs bin. Hoffe das es langlebig ist, dann ist der Preis mehr als Fair!

Russell YoungRussell Young: The media could not be loaded.  I hardly ever write reviews, but I will for this item. I love this thing. Im telling you this and I've only had it out the box for 5 minutes. Im a computer programmer. I do math all day long and burn through scratch paper all day. This is the solution. Ive never used a lcd writing pad. I dont feel the need to look further. Is it bright? No. Is it legible? Yes. Theres no backlight. Perhaps, that could be the one thing I'd like. Its rechargible, which is a huge plus from having to buy coin batteries. I was worried that it wouldn't be pressure sensitive, but it is. I tend to write small and it can keep up. Now, the calculator is also impressive. For being non-scientific it has extra functions. Like square root. Screen is large. And check this, it can go 11 digits behind the decimal. I think thats to the 100/trillionth, but don't hold me to that. Lol. Honestly, at this price point, you can't complain. I think this is perfect for what I need. If you need a writing pad with the calc, get this. Just a thought. It would be nice if it had a save feature or a recent, but thats pushing it, right.
