Jeans fit snug so for example, my son is a very slim 11 year old boy when I got the size 12 they fit so snug it was as if once they go in the dryer they would shrink. So I got a 16 and still they fit skinny.. the waist is just big so he will have to use a belt. Otherwise very stylish and worth the money .
