firemansflame28: This is in no way to cover an open gaping wound. This sucker will make an open cut burn, burn, burn. I see that as the antibiotic qualities in it. I use this alot because in the winter month's my hands crack. You don't want them to continue to do so, so I use this. Several coats work, and it keeps the dexterity you need to feel with your fingertips.
