Monica Ann: Ordered 8.5 which fit my foot well except for the toe box which is oddly triangular shaped. I typically wear a regular width but had to order an extra wide in order for my toes not to be squished. Wouldn’t recommend for people with wide feet. The extra wide did fit perfect though and are comfy for long days walking and the dad shoe vibe.

Kindle Customer: Years ago, I had foot surgery for an injury following a fall. It was 6 months before I could even begin to walk again, but when I was okayed to start weight bearing, these specific shoes are what the surgeon recommended (with inserts). They are very supportive shoes, and are still what I wear to this day. I have severe arthritis in my foot from the injury and surgery. I have foot pain everyday and am a CNA that is constantly on my feet at work. I have tried other shoes, both New Balance and other brands, but nothing compares to these. The only downfall is that they only come in plain white (and black, I think), so they look quite boring. However, to me, comfort outweighs fashion.

DJefferson: Shoe is great. Good support and comfort. Made of real leather. I was not happy that I had to return them. I am a size 10.5. But this shoe runs small so I had to return them and order a size 11. I recommend this shoe, but I also recommend that you purchase a half size larger than what you would normally wear.
UPDATE: I ordered the size 11 and they fit perfectly. Definitely order a half size larger that what you would normally wear. The sneaker it quite comfortable. And the support is wonderful. It is going to be a great shoe for the gym.

C. G. King: Some New Balance shoes run a bit narrow and this style is one that does so the wide fits me better. The shoes are comfortably cushioned and offer decent heel and arch support. They'd be great for walking or jogging, although I'm too old for that and just appreciate the soft insides and the good cushioning of the sole. The length is as expected and since I usually wear an average width, the wide is a little roomy, but not much, where the average width was too snug when I tried that. I replace the laces that come with the shoe with elastic ones so when my feet swell during the day, the shoes never feel too tight. I certainly wish New Balance would keep the same styles over time in some of these standard varieties. It's frustrating to find a replacement when a tried and true style is no longer available and you have to find a new version. I liked the old 470 style, then had to switch to the 410 leather cross trainers which are now passe too. This is the closest I could find to those.
