John: I hiked the Ozarks overnight with 27 lbs in this backpack. It held up perfectly. It had plenty of pockets in the right places, and overall was a very comfortable backpack. This backpack would be an ideal choice for an overnight trip.

Dave Janes: Given the size I figured the backpack would hold more, but it's not very deep. That being said, it is long and wide enough for most things and it's very versatile with a lot of pockets and clasps. If I were to buy again I would get a larger size, but it's good quality and I anticipate it will last a good while.

Amanda: Bought this for a 2-day backpacking trip and this worked out excellently! It held everything I needed as well as some extra stuff that I honestly did not need LOL.

The built in support frame was wonderful! Once I figured out how to adjust it and balance the weight properly, I felt no strain whatsoever. My partner ended up purchasing another one for himself for later trips because he liked mine so much.

The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the chest strap, as it went across my bust area and wasn’t super flattering, but I’m not sure if that was a me-thing or if that is a common issue for women with backpacks. Not sure if I would have preferred it higher or lower to be honest haha. There was not an issue with support or pain related to this.

RichwRichw: I have had this backpack for a while in preparation for a 200 mile hike in northern Spain. It's been 10 years since I stopped running and I let myself get out of shape for this kind of distance. So I put the pack aside and began walking to get back in shape.

So now I'm up to 7 1/2 miles with 13 lbs. in the backpack. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. There is a small connector strap between them to keep them from sliding off your shoulders. This connector strap is adjustable up and down and one side of the buckle is an emergency whistle. The shoulder straps should allow you to attach an umbrella for hands free walking. One one strap is an elastic band sewn across the strap and the other side has a reflective cloth band (no elastic). The shoulder straps have adjustments at the top and bottom.

The padded waist cinch is very good, taking weight off your shoulders. It has very generous adjustment straps. Each waist strap has a small ventilated zipper pocket and is right at your hips. It's hard for me to reach them but I'm older and not as flexible as I used to be.
