there is nothing I don't like about this controller or my purchase experience on Amazon. The price was right where I wanted it, it was delivered timely, installation was a breeze, connecting to wi-fi was simple, setting up zones and watering schedules was straightforward, and I have had it all summer and it has worked flawlessly. I previously owned two different Rain Bird wi-fi controllers and this one has all the same functions. I was skeptical only because it didn't have many reviews, the name Netro is stupid, and it doesn't have the look from the outside like other controllers. I am so glad I was able to overcome these skepticisms. There is no doubt if I need another controller in the future this Netro will be at the top of my list of options to purchase. They should change the name though but once you get used to it, the look is just fine. It just isn't a makeover look of the old mechanical systems.

I installed 4 sprinkler valves and this is a great management system. Easy to install, easy to manage all on the app. It took me 5 minutes to install everything. The sprinklers are all on a custom schedule and it is easy to customize.

Switched to this after having three replacements of Rachio unit. This unit is far from my wifi and never loses connection. Set up was a breeze. App gets 8 out of 10. Very satisfied.

We now have 4 Netros in our 8 acre garden (Sprinklers, Vegetables, Pots & soaker hoses). We find Netro 100% reliable, easy to install. The app is absolutely first class. We use them with Hunter PGV-100g-b valves and Hunter I-20 sprinklers. We bought our first Netro in 2018 and they have worked flawlessly since then. I can't recommend them enough.

Ok here's the facts..
1. you dont need a rain sensor.. Why, because it is Wifi and checks the weather forecast.
2. ease of programming.. generally speaking its comprehensive. I would like to see consideration for specific types of nozzles, like zones that have bubblers for annuals as well, regular nozzles. But, I simply kick on a manual watering when i walk out front and call it a day
3. price, price, price.. I'm sorry, hands down, for a price comparison rainbird and hunter cant touch this category..
4. Honestly i have extensively used major brands and this controller was a refreshing, easy to use, install, configure and operate device. I feel the others nickel and dime you for add ons, like a wifi adapter or are a design that reminds me of the old RCA TV's with the old fashion spin the knob, (clunk clunk) practice of setting up a controller.. Hello its 2023..
5. The app has a setting for type of ground and the practice of watering.. thats important as heck.. if you have ground so hard you could build a skyscraper on, then you use the config where it waters a few times in shorter cycles.. if you has mushy soft ground.. they cover that...

Tengo funcionando el controlador Netro Spark 8 desde hace unos meses para mi riego de jardín en 2 zonas.
Hasta la fecha estoy muy contento. Funciona correctamente y me gusta mucho la aplicación del móvil para controlar y monitorizar los riegos. Como punto extra de satisfacción quiero comentar que el enchufe vino malo y con poner una reclamación en la App del móvil, me contactaron el mismo día para enviarme uno nuevo. Aunque son americanos, considero que tienen muy buen servicio de soporte/atención al cliente en España (Posiblemente también en europa).
Me gusta el software de planificación automático de riegos en base a tu ubicación, el tipo de plantas, siembra y las condiciones meteorológicas.

The Netro replaced an older controller where the app was no longer being maintained. The Netro Spark checked all my boxes from the description and online reviews. I was very happy with the easy installation process, and the app is so improved over what I had used before. I should have switched earlier!

Overall I liked this unit. The app has a few more features than Rachio but is missing the mapping for the zones that Rachio has which is a must to calculate the square footage and sprinkler head placement of each zone. My only hangup is that I cannot use a wired external rain or moisture sensor. Unlike nearly all irrigation controllers this one does not have the sensor terminals to wire any type of external sensors. If it had this and the mapping I would have kept it. I ended up with the Rachio when it was all said and done. I appreciate the responsiveness of the company in helping me out too so I have nothing negative to say about them. Just the one detail that I feel should be standard on all controllers. If a new version included these missing features I would consider it superior to the Rachio.

Programmierung und Konfiguration ist einfach, Austausch der vorhandenen Steuerung war ziemlich einfach.
Einzig die Anzahl der User, die zugreigen können ist mit 3 ein wenig wenig. Aber viellecht wird diese in Zukunft noch erhöht. Würde sie wieder kaufen.
