The Neoteck Digital Angle Finder is the perfect construction protractor for any job. With its backlight LCD digital angle gauge level box and powerful magnetic base, you can easily view the measurements in the dark and secure the protractor to any iron surface. It also features a data hold and IP54 dust and water resistance for added protection. Plus, it has an automatic turn-off mode that switches off after 3 minutes of inactivity to save battery life. Build quality, overall satisfaction, value for money, and accuracy make this protractor an excellent choice for any project.Happy shopper: I keep it in my pocket. Good for straightening picture frames, setting angles of saw blades and drill press tables, shelves, appliances and furniture, and for any general carpentry. Get a 12" long section of steel square tubing to make it even more useful for precision jobs.

Ray D.: Although it worked fine to measure the angle of my table saw, it failed miserably when I tried to measure the angle of a miter joint that was only 1 inch long. The reason? The bottom of the gauge (the magnetic part) is not flat so it's not suitable for narrow things! and the bottom has no groove for mounting on round objects like pipe. I returned it and bought another product.

Mark R. Hunsberger: This thing is great. I bought this to replace the old model I used every day for 4 years. I perceive it to be accurate. The old model was red and this model is blue, but the functionality is similar.
Unfortunately, Amazon lost the first one, but shipped out a second and now life is good.
Thank you Amazon.

GMZ: There are several models of digital angle finder, level box, etc. Under the hood, it appears there are only 3 or 4 actual models that are rebranded by sellers, the biggest differences being number of number of buttons, decimal digits, and measurement functions. Note the price of two different brands can be substantial, even though the actual products appear similar or identical.
Obvious features of the Neoteck level box are three-button operation and two decimal digits, i.e., "12.34", for degree measurements (% slope resolution is a tenth of a percent). Keep in mind that the Neoteck accuracy specs make it reliable to 0.1 degrees (like most other digital levels). The main advantage of two decimal places for degrees is moving the digital reading "jitter" to a less significant (hundredths) digit.
The display is backlit (with much info), and will blank out after several seconds, but automatically turn back on when the level is moved. This is more convenient than some digital levels where you need to press the ON button again to restore the backlight. If the unit is left for a few minutes, it will power down automatically.
Another distinguishing, although not...

Stiletto: This is a very nice, accurate little gauge for the money. However, I needed it for use both in my workshop as well in automotive work to measure the angle when torquing sensitive fasteners that involve the use of a swivel joint in obstructed situations. For this latter purpose, I found that the magnetic base was not strong enough to reliably keep the tool attached to chrome steel socket extensions, most notably 1/4" drive socket extensions, when used at angles > 45°. This angle finder would keep slipping down towards the fastener. For this purpose, I would recommend the AccuMaster 7434, which, although more expensive, I found has a much stronger magnetic base that keeps the angle finder attached to the cylindrical extension rod without slippage. For attaching to saw blades and other large, flat steel surfaces, the magnet inside the Neoteck was sufficient, although still not as strong a grip as the AccuMaster.

Michael Arki: Cery neat tool to have to make sure your getting a good cut. Ive used it several times but and my
Only complaint is that you can’t get it set to exactly 90 or 45 degrees. It gets to 89.9 and 45.06. For me, thats close enough but for more advanced woodworkers or professionals, this might not cut it

JMJR: This is a really handy little angle finder! I work at a custom steel fabrication shop and it will perfectly suit our needs. The magnets in the base hold the box securely to our steel workpieces, and the backlit large digit display makes reading the angle easy for the older guys in the shop. The angle box can read down to the hundredth of a degree, which is way more precise than our fabrications ever get (down to one degree for most jobs).
If i could make any improvements, the provided pouch is handy to keep the box from getting scratched up between uses, but it does feel a bit cheap. Also, the provided batteries are very cheap and may not last long. Lastly, the magnets are only in the base, not on any other faces of the box. This is likely purposeful because the meter only measures the angle of tilt left to right along the bottom face, so it's not a big deal.
Overall, this angle finder is a very good buy, at just a quarter of the price of other units. If it does meet an untimely death, I'll update this review, but from what I can see, we should get many years of use out of it.

Amazon Customer: I use this to check my table saw, and have started to use it for other purposes. Leveling furnature, my 3D printer, etc. I have no way to measure how accurate it is, except to say if I check a measurement three or four times, the answer is the same every time. I can't find anything negative to say about it, at least not in the way I use it.
