John S. Ivey: I recently purchased a guide arm for a 4.5 inch angle grinder to sharpen a mower blade to the correct 30 degree angle. I watched videos on YouTube about the guide and these flap discs were recommended. The 80-grit does take off the metal quite as fast as a more coarse one but it really puts a sharp edge on the blade and I don't worry about gouging the blade.
