H. Brewer: The media could not be loaded. This is my first experience with a snuffle mat and I'm very pleased. With our previous German Shepherds, I deemed them too simple, not understanding the real goal. We've had this for a couple months now and our almost 1 year old dog loves it! She is super-smart, with an anxious nature, and this works well to help calm her and keep her focused for a time. It takes a little bit (a few minutes) for me to get this set up in such a way that it's more "challenging" for her, but I can't imagine that being any different for other types of the same product.

Brandee Heller: My dog is a scrounger, every time I take her out she's scrounging all over the place looking for anything to eat but when I bring her in she shows no interest at all in her food bowl. I'd seen tons of great reviews on snuffle pads so I decided to try one, I'm so glad I did. She doesn't scrounge around outside nearly as much and she's eating her food regularly now. It works so well that I have a couple of friends who want to get one for their dogs.

Cathryn M. Lloyd: Well, my 11 month old puppy (Boston Terrier) really loves her new forage mat, but developed an unintended use for it. After finding the treats I had placed in it, she decided it must be a good place to hide her stash of bits of cheese (usually hidden in the couch cushions) and other miscellaneous little nibbles of treats she typically hides in her dog beds or other random places. She spent a very long time finding all her stashed goodies and carefully moving them into her new foraging mat. Who knew it was a nibbles organizer for her, and a housecleaning aide for me?!

GizmorakerGizmoraker: HE LOVES IT. I have an 9mo old 13lb Pomeranian puppy. He chewed the plastic slide toggle (buckle thing) off in a second - while I was standing right there !!! I was able to grab it before he swallowed. Put a new one on - pointed to it and told him "no" a few times then tucked it underneath the food mat. He avoided it for like 2 seconds then with one bite it was broken again. THIS TIME - I took it off and I couldn't think of a better way so just tied a knot to keep it gathered some. He hasn't messed with it at all now - even leaves it tucked under the mat... If I ever have to buy one again - I WILL REMOVE THE PLASTIC TOGGLE FIRST !!! He has not been able to destroy anything else on it LOL. I took off a star because of the toggle all though I do love the adjustable feature. I want people to read this review so they are aware and I personally don't usually read too many of the 5 star reviews - mostly the 3 and 4 star reviews.
I've had it for roughly a month. I put it down almost every day with his regular food in it PLUS I cut up a couple of training treats (or sometimes a smidge of cheese) really small and sprinkle it around on the mat. He won't hardly eat out of his regular bowl...
