Valerie Andrews: A KIND AND GENTLE GUIDE. This book boldly addresses a potentially scary topic - getting back into dating later in life. But the author tackles it with a kind and gentle tone and shows deep insight into the barriers that people can create for themselves, either through fear or lack of awareness. She tackles teach topic methodically, asking provocative questions to get the reader thinking on what they truly want and they may (or not) be willing to compromise. At the end of each chapter is a summary of actionable steps that can be untaken bit by bit, to avoid overwhelm. And at the back of the book is a collection of resources for further exploration. Overall, this is an excellent guidebook.

Karrie: The art of Senior Dating by Ravina M Chandra is one book that proves that there is never a time limit for finding love. Love is a beautiful thing and if you are willing to take another shot at love at 70, this book is the perfect guide, you need, there are many reasons why I find this book interesting. They include the author’s writing style and the practical exercises that this book continues to help the reader understand how best to enjoy free time with his/her partner.
Reading this book helped me in so many ways. It refreshed my memory about the things I once enjoyed doing. It’s a great way to tell you to get up, find a partner, and try out some of these things that once made you feel happy and special. The author wants you to find happiness and love again and she is not joking about it.
Chandra explains the art of online dating and provided tips on how best to go about it. Dating as a senior may seem overwhelming but this book makes it very simple. I highly recommend this book.

Dating today can be a very intimidating experience for anyone, but it is especially difficult for anyone who has been out of the dating game for a long period of time and is now looking to get back into it. This book covers a variety of topics including figuring out who you really are so you can present your true self, how to determine who you are really looking for in this new stage of life, how to navigate the world of online dating while also avoiding the different scams that out there which will lead you astray. I think this book made this topic easy to navigate and understand while also providing lots of options for people to choose from based on what they want to do. I would highly recommend this to anyone, not just seniors, who have not been dating for awhile and need some guidance on what they should and should not be doing.

Manish: I recently bought and read the Art of Senior Dating by Ravina Chandra on Kindle. I loved it!!!

I found it to be a well thought out and pragmatic approach to dating, especially given the doubts one has one gets older. It starts with how to make you feel good and confident about yourself, something that we often forget to do. The simple tools such as how to acknowledge and deal with loss, assessing your needs, and how to better your environment and your mindset to help you feel better and motivated are very useful. The simple assignments helps you come to your own solutions. It also talks about the current social media and resources for dating – living through a shift in the dating scene, and COVID restriction, I found this very helpful.

There are many things we all feel we know but are hesitant to put to use. For me, this book provides a reassurance in words that I need, through a very gentle approach to finding happiness, first with yourself and then with someone else.
