Chantel: All branches had mold. Thats enough of a reason. Im returning it. And the branch wood is way to pricky, i would never let my precious little ones sit on this.

Joyce M: I had one of these and my 4 budgies were always fighting as to who used it and who got to sit on top so I got a 2nd one to ease the tension. Now they are much happier. It's a sturdy perch, very easy to assemble and birds love it. It helps add a natural element to their cage and works hanging down or standing up on top.

Frequent FlyerFrequent Flyer: When I unwrapped it, the wood seemed damp. I baked it at 250F for 45 minutes and that dried it out. Birds went for the perch as soon as I installed it. It is pretty soft wood. You can see my girl did quite a number on it within the first hour it was hanging in the cage. But that means she likes it!

DawnTagsDawnTags: We have a pointed, house-shaped cage with sloping sides, designed to catch seed hulls. We quickly found that the sloping sides were catching all the bird droppings, as well. We were looking for perches that would keep our cockatiel in the center of the cage, to keep the droppings off the seed catchers.
We bought the medium model for our cockatiel. Mounting took a bit of ingenuity, as the top of the cage is slanted. We ended up running two dowel rods across the crossbars on the roof of her cage, pushed the threaded part between them, and tightened the wingnut on top.
It took her a week to get used to it, but she’s hopping from branch to branch now, and all the droppings are falling right in the middle of the cage.

tloppa: Bought this for my meyer parrot. She loves it. I like it that i can attach on and off parts to be used later.
The con is that all the branches have very pointy protrusions. I sanded those protrusions down to make them less pointy.
Overall i give it a 4.5/5 stars
For 5 real branches under 12 bucks is a steal.
