I’ve purchased this many times but this particular batch seemed different to me. The consistency and texture of the food was a lot lighter and thinner in a way. My cat is eating this way faster than the batch I ordered before. Not sure if they changed something but this is a bit of a red flag to me.

Good cat food, all natural products, no bi-products added. But I don't recommend buying online as it doesn't seem to be fresh. My cat had been eating this brand for years, but when I bought the brand online from Amazon, she wouldn't touch it. I went back to my pet food store and she gobbled it up and she is twenty-one years old and very fussy. You could say she knows the "Good from the Bad," lol.

OK... Now that you are back I know that you have seen site after site rank Natural Balance as number one.
I know because that is what I did.
We really wanted our cat to eat well and realized most cat food is all filler and byproducts and other garbage.
We used to use Before Grain (good selection and seems healthy but our cat didn't really like it) and Blue Buffalo (she enjoyed it but because of the lack of flavors she stopped eating it).
I tell you our cat loves this! She literally salivates as she meows for Natural Balance.
I've given cans of it to my mother, family, and friends who have cats because not only is it exceptionally healthy, all cats love it!
I must also mention that this costs less than the Blue Buffalo and only slightly more than the Before Grain.
I would never use another cat food again. If you love your cat, buy this!

I have been using this cat food for about a month and I have purchased 3 flavors. Now, I'm not a cat, and I've never eaten it, but both my cats eat it right up. I have a 14 year-old cat with tiny kidneys, who was an outdoor cat until July, when I took her to the vet, and he gave her a 25% chance of still being alive in 2 years. He told me that I need to get her on good, wet cat food. So I bought this, after doing a lot of research. Since purchasing this, she seems to have filled back out (she's very tiny, maybe 4 pounds). She is also peeing a bit less, which is also a good sign that her overall urinary tract is working better.
Another good sign for this food comes from my younger cat who is almost 2. I am feeding this to her, as well, and her solid waste has become much less stinky! She has had a VERY stinky litter box from the moment I got her. I've tried different foods (even mixing in some pumpkin, per a vet)to no avail, but since giving her this, her smell is not as strong.
So, this is a little bit pricey compared to some foods, but well worth it for the health of my cats, and the sanity of my nose :)
