The tent stakes are difficult to thread and mount on the truck. Other than that, it's a good bargain and I plan on using it alot soon.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This tent is super easy to set up and take down. If we go somewhere I can take the poles down and fold them, and the tent, into the back of the truck within 5 mins; to set back up takes under 5 mins. Can be done with 1 person.
The tent is super spacious. Sleeps 2 adults comfortably. We've slept 1 adult and 2 kids (11 and 8) comfortably as well. Enough room for a large bag and other items at the end of the bed (over tailgate area). I have 2018 GMC Sierra standard bed.
I've treated it with waterproof spray. I still get a small amount of water in it if the rain is consistent. The area is where the tent meets the tarp material at the front of the bed (near back window). I'm not convinced that this isn't operator error, however I haven't figured out how to set it up differently. The water pools in that area and eventually seeps in. The rest of the tent is fairly water tight. I do feel wetness if I rub the sides. I may treat it again. This is much better than I have encountered on many ground tents. I'm not sleeping in a river of water! I love that I am off the ground, away from most bugs and critters.
Suggestions for improvement: Allow the tent to have the option of covering...

Bj CurrieBj Currie: This tent is awesome, I was looking at buying a higher end tent for my truck and decided on this instead. Great value for the money and for a one size fits all the fit is almost dead on for my truck. 2022 Tacoma 6.5ft box. The reason for 4 out of 5 is the tent leaked the first time up. I blame this on the generic fit. Mine leaked at the back of the box next to the cab where the bottom material attaches to the side walls. Water runs off top and lands on the bed rail and seeps in. Other than that I’m 6’2 and can stand up hunched over. Zippers work pretty good. Goes together very easy too. First picture is where the water runs.

Tom Turner: Good product and customer service. One of the polls broke the first attempt to set it up. Contacted customer service and received the replacement in just a few days. Set-up instructions are good. Tent is durable and weather resistant. First night using it there was a rain storm with some wind and I was dry inside. Lots of questions and comments from other camper too! The best thing I like about this tent is you can remove it from the vehicle without much tear down. Allows you to use the truck in the day and sleep comfortable at night with little effort.

trucktenter: I am loving this unit but during setup my sense is that it is important to treat the clips with care. I am tenting alone and it is certainly easier to set up with a second person. Just back from a two day trip and it rained and the unit was dry although I really wish the fly covered the portion behind the truck cab. I use bulldog clips to pull the fly back during the day because once installed it is very difficult to re-attach the fly from ground level. Here too a second person would be helpful. Actually, come to think of it, if I was having more luck on Tinder, I might be giving the tent a five star review.

DirchDirch: Hallo zusammen, Rezension zum Napier Ladeflächenzelt.

In Amerika ein Schnäppchen und hier lange ziemlich teuer zu erwerben. Habe dann zufällig Amazon Global entdeckt, hier war das Zelt plötzlich zu bekommen und für einen angemessenen Preis!

Leider ist die erste Bestellung schief gegangen, es kam das falsche an, zu klein.
Hätte es zurück schicken können, aber 50 Euro Versand und logistisch gesehen Quatsch. Da ich ziemlich schnell einen Käufer hier in Deutschland fand,habe ich nochmal neu bestellt und diesmal war es das richtige!

Jetzt zum Zelt... Es passt gut auf meinem 73er Ford F250 (long bed) und ist einfach aufzubauen, bekommt man sogar alleine hin.
In der ersten Nacht hat es geregnet, es war dicht! Wie lange es Regen aushalten kann, kann ich nicht sagen, da es nur eine Nacht geregnet hat.

Gut finde ich die Höhe, gefällt mir besser als nen Hardtop, und einige Ablagen hat es auch zu bieten.

Fliegen und Mückennetz ist am Eingang mit dabei.

Das ein. - und aussteigen, Ladeklappe muss offen stehen, ist ohne extra Trittstufe schwierig. Da das Zelt mit an der Klappe befestigt wird.

rory ridley: I like it , , its not the best quality, one strap ripped off on the very first time i used it , i can sew it back on , so no real problem ,i guess , , would have liked a better quality
i would suggest setting up the entire tent on the ground , and then lifting it on the truck , i was alone and it worked for me , then its just to tie it down . also i have a hard folding cover , the tent fit , but it was missing the part where the cover is , , you could remove the cover for a more snug fit , but mine worked with the cover . . hope this helps ..

BenBen: I used this tent on a camping trip with my girlfriend to glacier national park. Before we left we set it up in the driveway once, and after that it was easy to do. We set it up four times on the trip and I think we can do it together in 5-10 minutes now. Our preferred method was to lay it out on top of the truck bed and then put the poles in, contrary to the tip in the instructions. That way you don't need to try lift and maneuver it around with the poles in. The instructions are sewn into the bag and it gives a specific order for insertion of poles. We followed this order and did not have any poles break. A few tips of my own; don't loosen the straps to take the tent down, just stretch the elastic straps. That way they are the correct length for your specific pickup the next time you install it. The easiest part to screw up is the pole which forms an arch over the door. It needs to be assembled exactly as shown in the image for the product listing. The fabric goes inside of the tailgate support cables, and the pole goes to the outside of them.
