JCS: This is the first time actually cooking with Ghee. I am now kicking myself for not doing this sooner. I was able to fry eggs without sticking to pan. Baking cornbread leaves a little residue, which is easily cleaned, and the cornbread does not stick to pan. I hate oil sprays. And Ghee works so much better and also adds some buttery flavoring to whatever is cooked or baked. Planning a steak dinner tonight.

NannyNanny: I've seen others that do not like the taste of NANAK but they probably have extensive culinary tastes for someone who has used ghee for most of their lives. We really like NANAK. It tastes buttery to us and we use it for cooking. It is delicious for us!

Ewa800: I ran out of my clarified butter and needed one pretty fast as I eat a lot of fish and it tastes the best when fried on that kind of butter. So first of it is a huge jar and for a moment I was worried I would have no
room in my fridge for that but because of its size it is a great value.(way better than ones bought in the store) . It came in a liquid form but that is to be expected as I live in Florida and it is hot outside. I was glad that the expiration date was in December so I have plenty of time to use it up ( we are a small family of three). Once hardened in a refrigerator the butter got this very waxy texture which makes it harder to even get it out of jar ( I was hoping it would be a bit more creamer ) but the smell is pleasant and it tastes good so overall I am very happy and I am glad I will not have to worry about running out any time soon.

J Carlson: I'm new to Ghee and this is only the second time I've purchased a jar of it (different brand last time). So when I see others complain that they think theirs had gone bad before they received it, I wouldn't know. I can say it definitely is making things we cook with it taste amazing so I doubt it has gone bad. The previous brand arrived in solid form and remained as a solid whereas this jar/brand arrived in liquid form and remains in a thick liquid form. It looks like it is partly separated which if it were pure butterfat I wouldn't think that would happen. It seems to perform and taste just the same as the brand that remained fully in solid form. It is summer now and typically 6 degrees warmer so that might be part of the issue but the other brand although very soft remained a solid. The previous brand was bought locally, is not available on amazon and cost just as much for a very small jar. As I was using it just for popcorn I wanted to get a larger/better value jar. Recently I was challenged to try using it in place of where I typically would use coconut or vegetable oil and we are really liking it so are cooking with it a lot more now.

nicyogi: Achat pour donner de la saveur au popcorn, mais je l'utilise désormais aussi pour la cuisson d'aliments comme les oeufs, patates rôties, donne une saveur près du beurre régulier et ne brunit pas en cuisson. Cependant ne peut le garder a température ambiante, devient trop liquide et grumeux. Au réfrigérateur, il devient dur moins facile pour l'extraire du pot.

Amazon Customer: I was hesitant on buying this as the price point was low compared to the volume. I chose to do it because I go through so much. Between cooking, baking, bulletproof tea/coffee I go through it quick. it seems pretty yellow compared to others I have tried, however, the taste is comparable. I just hope that it truly is a good quality. I will buy it again. A little too liquidy, should be a litter firmer. But could be the lot i got.
