SM Jones: I purchased these to give as gifts. I kept one for myself and have used it to go walking after dark. It has a decent battery that lasts longer if not using on bright beam. Able to dim with a press of a button. Side light is motion activated. Time will tell on durability.

Ricardo Hiroshi Mamiya: The battery honestly don’t last too long but enough for perhaps 2 hours on a full charge? Enough for me to detail my car and check for imperfections on the surface/paint. Sometimes me and my son we use to jog at night in our neighborhood. It’s great because it makes impossible to people/cars around you not to see you and also people can’t really see your face when you use it.

Mike Fratto: Perfect for those times when you need hands free light. The band is so light I barely know it's on my head. It's that comfortable. The light is even and bright perfect when you need it.

Like others noted, the motion detection is very sensitive turning the off and on unexpectedly. I don't use it.

Also, and I didn't take a star for it, is the light shines straight out so reading something below your line of vision can be hard. The spot light is also less useful that I thought.

Joseph: I bought this because I was using one of the "older" headlamps and it was too bulky to get into the area I needed to be in.

These turned out to be FAR better than I hoped for. They are super bright and give light to a much wider range than my old headlamp.

The reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is that the motion senor is hyper sensitive, as in anything that passing it will turn the light on or off. So when your head first in a engine and you need to see that one wire or bolt, if you pass anything part of the frame your light will go off.

But its easy enough to fix that by not enabling it in the first place.

Overall, fantastic headlamp and only takes about an hour or 2 to fully charge it

Michael Puckett, II: This little guy is the most comfortable and best lighted headset I've worn. I was in maintenance and been through many different headlamps. You will forgrt this one is on yoir head and you won't fight for weird angles sometimes to see properly. The arc of light is perfect, you can't see the light travel as you move your head, you just start thinking the rooms lit after a min.

Cons:
It says it has low battery life, can be recharged but sinfe it's so cheap, if you need more life, I'd just carry a few. Mine hasn't died on me and I wore it about 2 hours on so far. Not enough time to say.
It's bright enough to make working with someone else close by possibly annoying. I have not experienced this with it but I can guess by the arc lighting and brightness that there may be some blinding each other moments. It does have a forward single light that shines at a great angle on the side and so fsr this is the only reason I can guess it's there for bc the arc or band lights everything just fine.
