B-Rad OC: I found this GEM of a tool at a shelter I volunteered at and wanted one for myself. At first, I bought a generic one that looked the same but it did not roll very easily, pick up hair or feel very sturdy. Lesson learned! I got the name of the ones from the shelter, Nado and ordered a couple. These consistently work easily to pick up the hair. It is surprisingly thorough with pick up and on different fabrics. So far it works great on cat beds, fleece blankets, sheets, upholstered furniture, (fabric) window coverings, low-pile rugs and throw pillows.

We weirdly love seeing how much hair is collected. (I love knowing I can get more hair cleaned up from furniture which does a pretty good job to avoid setting off our pet allergies.)

The directions werent clear how to clean it but if you just set the roller on your hand and rub it back and forth several times it gets any lingering hair off and into the good sized-collection cavity.

Only downfall I found is that the release latch is where your thumb normally rests to press down when using the tool, so I unintentionally release the dust cup when I am using even slight pressure to roll. I have to move...

Lilianna Vaughan: This picks up fur and lint great off of fabrics! Perfect to use on our suede/velvet/something couch, on clothes, really on any surface with taut fabric. Becomes a little less easy to use when using on concave surfaces, and doesn't work at all on flat hard surfaces (like the floor or countertop) but idk why you'd need to use it on a flat hard surface.
But yeah. Use it on anything that doesn't have loose fabric, just move it back and forth over the surface!
The handle of ours broke within a few days of using it (the part probably would snap back on but it seems to have vanished) but it works fine without it! The cover is nice I guess but I never use it because what's the point?
As someone who has lived my whole life with cats, and also as a person who HATES leaving the house with any fur on me, this has saved me SO much money on tape lint rollers. We've had it for over a year and it works just as well as it did when we got it.
Sometimes it spits up dust when you use it. In my experience, this means you need to empty it!
