Dan: The item is not universal, did not fit correctly, and more water leaked out than went through the hose.

Would be fine if they said it was for specific models or sizes, but they claimed it was universal.

tahliab78: After multiple searches and trial and error with hoses, this is a great replacement for the water inlet hose that came with my twin tub portable washer (Bangson brand). It's much more sturdy and haven't had any issues so far. Definitely will buy a couple more just to have on hand.

Joybill: We are so pleased that we found this hose to drain a portable room air conditioner. The hose to our Honeywell air conditioner had inadvertently been lost. Our expensive air conditioner was worthless without the hose, and although we called and emailed Honeywell several times, they claimed they did not have any parts, there was nothing they could do, and they had no way to contact the manufacturer in China. So after being totally discouraged and let down by Honeywell, we found this replacement hose, which is exactly what we needed. The replacement works perfectly (it was a bit longer than what we needed so we easily trimmed a few inches). Can’t thank this company enough for offering this reasonable replacement tube on Amazon.

brenda: The hose did not fit. The opening is too wide and I doubt it would fit any portable air conditioner opening. I use duct tape to make it work. Other than the fact that it did not fit, the product works, I receive my package on time. I would recommend the product only if you have something to hold the hose in place. Otherwise, it is useless.

Schnups: Utmost joke product and way overpriced. This is a cent value item with the rubber ring broken and the tube so flimsy it will tear and crack easily too. Nothing "universal" either, both ends have the same diameter, not tapered or such either to make it "universal". Has been a while since someone tried to rip me ofg so massively on Amazon.
I'll see if I can rig something with another host piece I have to fit my AC but if not it goes back and BUYER BEWARE.

Lily Kennedy: This drainage hose is perfect for my LG portable a/c unit. If you have an indoor portable a/c unit then you have to use a drainage hose. I had a difficult time finding one that would fit properly, but after seeing the images attached with other reviews, I believed this one would work. Thankfully, it's just what I needed!
The end that attaches to the unit is graduated in diameter, so it fits this unit ( 1/2 inch) and probably a bit smaller also, I bought screw hose clamps to ensure a tight fit & so it would stay attached. It's slightly difficult to attach, so I immersed the white end in a cup of very hot, but not boiling, water for several seconds. The heat expanded it a bit & also made it more pliable, so it was was easier to attach. When it cooled back down, the result us a very snug & dripless attachment, so no hose clamp needed.
I've directed the output end of the hose into a 15 lb cat litter jug, which is handier than a big, open bucket & just as sturdy. In 90° outside weater, the condensation fills it up abt 3/4 full every 24hrs, so I empty it once daily.
