Marica_T: Sunburn on your upper forehead and hairline is no fun, and I learned that lesson early last summer. Ouchie! I wore this hat while in the pool, and it gave me great shade for my eyes and shielded my face and neck from the sun. I think I have a decently large head, and this fit me well. I didn't care if the hat got wet (I was going to be in a pool, duh it'll get wet) and the hat dried fairly quickly. I'm all ready for the pool and sun this coming summer with this hat!!

Love2ReedLove2Reed: I love the hat but I sooo hate the way it was shipped. Box was too small that it bent the sides. Now I have a straw cowboy/rodeo hat. 😒🙄. Going to try and flatten the sides. If I can't by Monday I will return. Really wanted to wear for the holiday.

It has a black band on the inside rim to keep it looking clean if makeup rubs off.
It has two strings on the inside to make it a little tighter if your head is smaller.
