devilmom: This is a super cute makeup stool. It looks great with the vanity and is chic looking. The stool that came with the vanity was very childlike.

deborahdeborah: This chair broke after two months of use. I have tried contacting Amazon and the seller but have not heard back yet. I am 30 days over the time to return it. My daughter weighs 135 and the weight limit is 220 pounds. The wood splintered as you can see from the photo. Very disappointed as it is a good looking chair. I spent the extra money thinking it would be good quality. What a wasted 85.00. I will change this review if the seller contacts me and makes it right. If not, do not buy as you will be out of luck as I am with horrible customer service. Its a third party seller. I heard back. They are refunding my money. Will update to a 5 when money hits my account.

Cyndi & David GaggeroCyndi & David Gaggero: So after reading A LOT of the reviews I ordered & received my chair today. So far I am very pleased with the chair & will see how it holds up!
The packaging was great and items wrapped to be protected during the transport and the couple screws, washers & tool all come in a little manilla envelope and then taped to a red string so it doesn’t get lost or accidentally thrown out. I thought that was considerate.
following the building directions are very straight forward w/ pics as well. I read where it’s difficult for one person to assemble and I can agree with that b/c the back rest has to be screwed together to the seat, and if they had made the screw a little longer it wouldn’t have been such an issue! (And why I gave 4 stars) My hubs helped get the backrest on while I held the seat in place… The rest? Easy peasy! I also read where others had issues with the upholstery tacks coming off. I can’t attest to this b/c I just got it today, but I’m thinking about how to reinforce them to ward off it also happening to us.
In all? And as of today? We are VERY pleased with the chair & we will see how it holds up for our daughter @ her makeup mirror and...

BART ZOELLNER: Very good looking vanity stool. Bit the construction is some the most shoddy I have experienced with a product. One day, my petite wife fell off the stool, because a leg had come disconnected.
Upon investigation, I found that the underside is nothing more than a heavyweight cardboard. Not even to the strength of Masonite board.
Because, I’m pretty handy and have materials and tools. I rebuilt the stool with a plywood base to attach the legs to.
Amazing what a $2.00 piece of wood did to make the stool into one that will now last for a long time. Whoever designed this chair, should not be allowed to design anything. They should be embarrassed for selling such a piece of crap, when a piece of plywood instead of cardboard would have made this chair a real gem
