The fabric of these pasties is like if satin met paper and had a fabric child (somehow still perfectly comfortable though). So, it isn't the almost bandaid-like material you'd get from ones found at Target. That in itself makes the adhesive a little more iffy. The first design I tried was the star shape. Honestly, I just thought a star would be cute, but it also made for a very good test subject as the design of it makes it the least likely of the designs to stick very well. Initially, it didn't stick very well at all. I did what you're supposed to do with KT tape (even though these are physically nothing like KT tape) and rubbed it over my shirt to better activate the adhesive through friction. That helped a little, but there was one arm of each star that I had to peel back and lay back down because they had a big ripple in them. Those arms had the hardest time sticking back down. Through the whole day they were hardly attached to my skin. (Important to note that I applied them right after a shower on clean, dry skin.) Rlatham: They adhere well but come off easily when going to take them off. I would like if there was a wider area without the adhesive since I'm a mom and also a lighter color
