Mueller Single Serve Coffee Maker: The Ultimate Brewing Experience

Faith Hansen: I love this coffee maker! I actually brought mine into my work for everyone to use in the break room, and I bought another one for myself to have at home! This coffee maker works wonderfully, and the price is beyond reasonable for how well it works. I have had the first one for about 6 years now, and just like the coffee it makes, it’s still going strong! I recommend this coffeemaker over ANY other brand. It actually works better than the kuerig brand coffee maker that my mom bought!

Watermark: We almost returned this Mueller single serve coffee maker because we were unable to find disposable cups the recommended size. Then we discovered we could use a taller cup by pouring only 3/4 cup water into the reservoir, thereby ensuring we could tip the cup slightly to remove it once coffee was made. Works like a charm. We are using standard 16 oz hot cups that are slightly over 5" tall. We just tilt the cup to encompass the drip assembly for brewing, and tilt again to remove. The bottom grid could also be pulled out for even easier cup insertion & removal if needed. We LOVE this little Mueller unit -- fantastic for small spaces.

Andrew Steeley: Had it for 3 years. Started crapping out after about 2.5 years. Pump started going I think. This morning, 3 years later, it died. Pretty good performance for the price value I guess

Tank is a little too small to make a cup the size I want so I usually used to run it twice with an itty bitty amount of water on the second run.

S: I bought this as a cheap replacement to a Keurig. Functionally, it does it's job but it could be better.

Positives: It is compact and easy to store when bot in use. The catch tray is magnetic so it's less likely to spill when it's full (compared to trays that snap in or tilt to clip in)

Negatives: I had to teach myself how to use this, because it's not as smooth as the more expensive brands.
1 -The water needs to be added SLOWLY as to not overwhelm the filter - slower than a faucet, slower than pouring water from a cup. If you go too fast, you'll spill water everywhere
2 - When you add a kcups and close the lid, you really have to push down hard. If it's not fully latched, you'll get maybe 3oz of coffee and the rest of the water just doesn't go through.
3- Don't use a taller mug. Even with the catch tray removed, only standard mugs will fit

Roger J Steels: I really like this brand of coffee maker. I only gave this model a 4/5 because of the clearance factor. When you place your Cup into the desired receiving spot for the coffee there is only limited clearance. So you have to dip the cup to get it in and out of place. I just think this is a potential danger of hot coffee scalding someone or just spilling on the counter….. and yes I did remove the drip tray but the problem still exists.
